Israel ‘dealt heavy blow’ to Iran & Syria – Netanyahu

    https://www.rt.com/news/418493-netanyahu-israel-blow-iran-syria/

everything depends on the mirror they see things.. the glass is half full or half empty?   Laughing

On Sunday, the Syrian al-Watan newspaper said the Syrian air defense forces effectively “destroyed the myth of Israeli air superiority in the region,” thus dealing a “blow” to Tel Aviv and creating a deterrent to further actions

Ali Shamkhani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, told Iranian media on Sunday.
“The Syrian nation proved this time that it will respond to any act of aggression, as the era of hit and run is over,”

This last quote.. is more confirmation of Israel tactics.. Hit and Run (and from  stand off positions)
using Lebanon airspace/golan heights or Jordanian one. before syria air defenses have time to react in full.

Syria is now targeting Israel airforce near its borders when show hostile intentions, even if they don't invade Syria airspace. This look to be the major change of Syria rules of engagement. It will not be safe for Israel to either fly
over Lebanon Airspace.. Since now Syria is even targeting Israeli planes in Northen Israel claimed territories.

This is right. From my observation, I would say that since the entering in force of the no-fly zone for them, Israel has been using this tactic of crossing not the border of the Golan, to say it properly because the Golan is territory of Syria. They entered in territory of Syria but without crossing the limits of the Golan, and attacking many times forces in the frontline to avoid air defense.

They, and the US violated instead the air space of Lebanon, to attack Syria. And until now the Joint Air Defense Command answered not to the hostile missile and aircrafts over the territory of Lebanon, something that really changed now. And Israel has been caught.

Some people has been saying that Russia does not retaliate to the evident attacks of the US, Israel and others. Here is a retaliation. Well planned and solved. Israel has been addict to this type of operations, it was obvious they would try again.

Who planned and prepared the mortar and drone attacks over the Russian base of January?
Who planned and prepared the shut-down of the Su-25?

Safe enough to say that they are receiving in return.

There are a lot of exaggerations and fake news about the Syria/Iran vs Israel air confrontation.

Here is what we know so far:

    - One Iranian-made Saegheh UAV was shot down by an Israeli helicopter.
    - One Israeli F-16I was shot down by Syrian air defenses. The type of SAM scoring the hit is not established.
    - News of one of the Israeli pilots dying in hospital is not true. Both pilot are injured only, one of them seriously.
    - The wildly circulated number of SAMs fired by Syrians (30) is an exaggerated number. (There are much fewer remains of SAMs over Israeli, Lebanese and Syrian territories).
    - The types of SAMs used were S-125 Pechora (SA-3), S-200 Vega (SAQ-5), BUK-2ME and 2K12 Kvadrat (SA-6).
    - There are unconfirmed reports that the short range Pantsir was also used against incoming missiles. It is not known if any hits against the PGMs were scored.
    - Syrian claims of a number of air targets hit remain unconfirmed (apart from the F-16I).
    - Rumors of an Israeli F-15 being hit and making an emergency landing can not be confirmed.
    - Usage of Lebanese airspace by Israeli aircraft is now confirmed.
    - Israeli claims that they hit 12 targets and inflicted heavy damage can not be confirmed.
    - One van was targeted and hit by an Israeli PGM. There is no confirmation that it was the actual guidance/command point of the Saegheh UAV. It could be something else.
    - Reports that a Syrian MiG-25 took off to participate in the confrontation can not be confirmed.

Iraqi PMU to the rescue of a small SDF unit.

BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:50 P.M.) – Almost a dozen Kurdish fighters of the US-led coalition who were encircled by Islamic State militants in east Syria during a big battle on the country’s border with Iraq have been rescued by Iraqi paramilitary fighters.

According to the sources within Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), forces of the battle-proven paramilitary group have rescued some eleven Syrian Kurdish fighters who were encircled by ISIS in the province of Deir Ezzor.

Reports state that unit of the PMU’s 13th Brigade conducted a successful rescue operation on the Syrian-Iraqi border to save a group of Syrian Kurdish fighters whom they had observed having been surrounded by Islamic State forces.

The development comes amid a big battle between Syrian Kurdish forces and ISIS in the Al-Sosa area of Deir Ezzor province (very close to Syria’s eastern border with Iraq) that has been raging for several day now.

Is Syria still operating mig-25???? I thought it would be a bit pricey to maintain especially due current economic situation and would it have been any good against f-16 &f-15?

According to my sources, the Zionists thought they had a free corridor in Lebanon and could fire their missiles at airbases in Syria with impunity.  Some Zionist bombers even flew over Southern Syria where their pilots, if need be, could eject into friendly terrorist territory.

The Syrian High Command had already been given the okay by President Michel Aoun of Lebanon to fire at Zionist aircraft flying in Lebanese airspace.  When one F-16-S flew over South Lebanon and was detected by SAA radar, an S-300 was fired right at it and struck the jet dead on almost killing the two-rodent crew.  The aircraft, due to its attitude and altitude, crashed into Occupied Palestine in the Galilee near the Arab town of Umm Al-Fahm.  In addition to this,  Zionist aircraft flying over the Hawraan in Syria, fired missiles at SAA bases but almost all the projectiles were intercepted and destroyed before they could reach their intended targets.  Another bomber flew over Lebanon in an attack on Jamraayaa northwest of Damascus, but, the aircraft were only successful in delivering their bombs to areas surrounding the town.  My source, Monzer, writes that another Zionist jet was struck by air defense missiles fired from Brigade 22 which is 3 kms north of Lake ‘Utayba.  The news of that strike is still being investigated.

1.- Lebanon becomes no-fly zone for hostile aircrafts.

Hezbollah is pro Iranian group. They should receive funding from Iran. Same Iran that keeps trying to screw Russia over, from airliner sales to Hamadan base and Tartus lease, even though they were supposed to be allies.

I say Russia should keep doing same thing they have been doing so far: staying out of stupid, irrelevant crap that they have no use of.

To note that Israel seems to prefer to concede that less advanced weapons are able to shut-down their aircrafts than to recognize the use of S-300 by Syria.

Interesting analysis. I suppose Syria firing missiles into the Golan, which is its sovereign land, is not legally attacking Israel. Nice one Smile

    Couple of sample paras

“The Syrian command and its allies have decided to impose a new rule of engagement on Israel: for every violation of Syria’s airspace, Damascus will fire dozens of missiles above the Israeli inhabited areas along the Golan Heights. The intention is not to hit a specific target but to make sure no Israeli on the borders and within range of the fired missiles will live in peace. They will be in the shelter, and this will happen every time the Israeli air force violates Syrian sovereignty”, according to the well informed sources.

In fact, two days ago, when Syria downed the Israeli F-16, Damascus started this rule of engagement by firing 25 missiles above the Golan Heights and over Israeli territory, forcing the closure of Ben Gurion airport for several hours. The siren sounded loud and clear in the entire area, ordering civilians to reach the closest shelter.

    .........................................................................

Israel played a losing card in insisting on this futile policy in Syria. An Israeli jet was shot down for the first time in 36 years, allowing President Assad and his allies to collect a victory and regain prestige in the Middle Eastern streets. Israel did not understand that it could no longer achieve its goals in Syria, that the variety of options had shrunk, and that the policy of intimidation – which Israel cannot abandon – far from helping, only strengthens its enemies, Assad, Hezbollah and Iran.

In order to unify Syria and end the war , now the kurdish separatists in Syria must be defeated . To do this , their backers the yanks and usraelis should be kept far away . Baiting the usraeli airforce with UAV incursion to force a sizeable air raid and increasing hit probability with more advanced SAM , is one way of giving them a bloody nose . And possibly keeping them out of the fight . But there is a fine line here . Downing two or three planes max , should be enough to reduce operations . But more massive loss , may force them into the battle . If it is seen as existential threat . With the yanks , there are three avenues to keep them out of the fight . This is economic , diplomatic and military pressure . The countries in the region, should hold a joint meeting of foreign ministers , demanding that yanks stop all military activity and aid to separatists . And bring about sanctions against yank military ties and economic interests . In military terms , the only life line to separatists is by air . Anti aircraft can be fired against yank planes that carry military supplies . This can be done anonymously , from various ground locations . Countries in the region should coordinate a joint ground military operation against the separatists . In this way the yanks can not isolate and target an individual nation . Separate uncoordinated action , will allow yanks to hit back . When are our foreign ministers going to issue a joint statement ? It will happen one day . Because it is necessary .

Whoever made it and still wants let make it again as a separate topic with the above question as title

Did anyone saw latest Trump tweet ??????   (Today February 12 2018)
Just after it was said in RT ,he had a phone conversation with Putin over Syria and Israel
rise of tensions and how to continue with middle east.. ??

IF this is real ... then it will mean Trump do not control US foreign policy in Syria.
and he is only allowing the Pentagon /DeepState to do as they want.. ( for not having a way to stop them)
But if is not real.. then he is only faking his support for peace and only trying to score points among
    American voters..

here is what Trump said today.. After Israel jet shotdown and his talk with Putin by Phone

    from RT report...
Trump back to slamming Middle East wars as he pushes infrastructure spending

This will be a big week for Infrastructure. After so stupidly spending $7 trillion in the Middle East, it is now time to start investing in OUR Country!

Now if you combine those 2 events..  with Trump meeting a group of Christians
for a prayer session at the white house..   in Feb 8 2018.
Then either he is a good actor.. and trying to fool his fanbase..
[i][b] or perhaps he is really powerless President and he can't stop the policy of Syria
and the military/deep state are following their own policies. [b] [i] ??????????

Mmm.. if i was going to bet.. it looks that the probability in in favor on Trump..
im about 70% inclined to believe that Trump is truly a powerless President in foreign policy at least.
and even looks like General Jim Mattis , the Pentagon secretary is a symbolic figure and do not
control the pentagon.. but a shadow government/deep state do it.. Mattis when was telling
the media about United States new policy in the world.. he had to read it.. (someone else wrote it to him?)
and he called Russia and China.. Adversaries.. and not like previous administration of Obama..
that you had the pentagon secretary warning Putin with civilian planes shutdown..  Shocked and a week later
Russia lose a civilian airliner in Egypt by ISIS.   Neutral

So there is something really strange happening in Washinton DC.. i was not really sure..
I was 50%/50% that it was all staged ,the fight between democrats and some republicans
to kick trump.. to fool Russia into lowering their guard. but now.. one year later after Trump
inauguration ,things appears to be more and more , like there is a real division in Power in America.
a real fight. and all this macho man policies of Trump is only lip service and budget increase to keep
the military industrial complex happy.. Which i suspect are the real power in US.. JEWS Elite.. that own
Raytheon ,Boeing ,and other top military contractors and build US nuclear weapons.. and Federal Reserve too..
have to be the real policy makers.

If that is not noticeable enough , you have 95% of jewish owned media for a full year..
accusing Trump of being a Russian agent. So either ,this is a gigantic staged thing
of many actors.. or there is real division in power in America.. and Trump is now pushing,
trying to convince the Deep State/Shadow Government to abandon their wars in the middle east.
and try instead a different ,less direct /military confrontational policy against Russia. If this is correct..
then for trump ,it will be better support sanctions on Russia and kick more embassy diplomats and
even try an euromaidan in Russia to remove Putin.. than to risk a world war 3 with Russia in Syria.

take a look at what Trump is doing.. he is using twitter to communicate with his supporters..
Look what Trump posted on the internet ,for everyone to see , in december 2017.

    https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/remarks-president-trump-66th-annual-national-prayer-breakfast/

So why so much prayer events?  Suspect  people only pray so much when they are in fear/worried of something..
and why post them on twitter? and why his family there>?   US is not under attack... nobody will invade them and will not be attacked by Russia..or China,, there are many many prayers events like this that trump organize..and in other
events ,(observing body language) ,i was able to notice people very worried , about Trump presidency. it looks they are very worried about something ,they don't like and this is why the prayers.

In my opinion is possible that is not Russia what Trump and his team is worried ,but Trump enemies in washtington DC trying to impeach him or pushing him into a war with Russia. And Gen Mattis looks to be also a puppet figure too..
and on the side of Trump of restoring relations with Russia.

The message i think Trump is trying to send is that he is working hard ,in any way possible. Including prayers,
so that he can get things done of what he promised.

This does not include the visit of the Top security man of Putin of the FSB ,to talk with the CIA director and Trump.
which democrats began to start claims of being the proof of Trump collusion with Russia.

Pentagon secretary and CIA director appears to be in the side of Trump.. but also they appear to be
not leading anything and to be only public figure ,and not with much power to change things ,like happens
    to Trump.

If this is not the mother of all acting.. then it looks like there is a major division in washinton DC and Trump team
trying to hold power and at the same time avoid a war with Russia and now trying to convince the deep state./military industrial complex of ending their wars in the middle east.

another information.. that could be fake..to mislead people into support Trump.. but it could be not far from
the truth.. and be close to it..

Who are the ultimate rulers of United States and policy makers ? deep state? shadow Gorverment?
Major break of power in US ?

Brexit,, i think is also linked with Trump support by some elites .. According to the brazilian analyst
who speak to RT.. very popular, forgot his name,, there is a major division between the top of the elite.. between rothchild (backing Trump)
    and Rockeffellers that backed obama.

I opened the topic when the 40 page of the previous topic was finished, but it seems that later other comments previously in the page 40 have been included here. For me this is not a problem.

The question of the poll was not a question about a comment, was a question about the war in overall terms, for the entire topic, because there is a situation now where the Kurds can receive support from Syria and Russia or not. The question of the poll was specific for this topic of the war. Breaks no-one rule. The alone problem is that some pro-Western commenters are disturbed by the anonimous votes of the people, that are members of the forum, but that sometimes want not to post to avoid some reactions. They want not to see a result with the time.

    It was an easy question:

Vote for the most reliable partner for Russia:

    - Turks.
    - Kurds.

Two options because the rest of the allies of every side are clear enough at this point. And two options, because the question was done in relative terms. Most reliable, less reliable. Even it was the option of changing the own vote with the time. But some commenters here fears too much the results and wanted to include the option Neither, the most favourable for the US. This is their real concept of democracy, for the forum and in overall terms. They prefer a topic without a poll and to bash, and to bully to everyone that says a different thing.

I wanted not a different topic for the poll. And I do not understand why some people has a word about how was my post and about what was included, when no-one rule was broken. I hoped the poll to be restored.

Despite it George1 created the topic. I do not consider this new topic of interest and I ask my comment to be deleted from it.

    Thanks.

Ok then, since there is no agreement let the administrator take the decision. I would like Vlad's opinion

But let me ask you, why u insist in the poll on a general topic for syrian civil war and you dont prefer it separate where views on the subject can be posted?

After all since we lock all the topics that reach 990 answers, if i was online earlier i could have started the new one for syrian civil war and then you wouldnt be able to make a poll on this, you should create a new topic-subject-poll

I do not insist, the previous comment is now improved. I comented that I dissagree about other people pressuring successfully to modify my comment here, when it was not breaking any rule.

As commented, I care about my comments on some issues, and I do not see myself as the author of the combination proposed of comment+poll+new topic. This is the reason why asked my comment to be deleted in the new topic.
