Namaste to dear Indians , добрый день to dear Russians.

I live in , India though I travel round the world. I am a Precision Guided Munition designer and of late am trying to design PGMs myself. More importantly I am a huge proponent of Indo Russian friendship.

I joined this forum today with the intention of sharing whatever knowledge I have about weapons with group members and also learning from group members .

Do you have a PGM design?

Yes, I do . The first is a 120 mm guided mortar which is not radically different from the 120 mm GPS guided mortar that the US is fielding in Afghanistan .
The other is an Air-to-Air BVM missile . However at this point of time it is at a conceptual stage. Initially thought of jointly producing these with local Indian companies , however have now decided to do it myself . Am submitting the necessary paper work to the authorities . Had spoken with RUSNANO in Russia as well . They were interested . However as a rule I will first have to produce a patent that I will have to submit to RUSNANO . Also, spoke with representatives of RosonboronExport ( New Delhi and Moscow office ) in Defense Expo last week .
