Hello to everyone, I'm a new forum member and this looks like a nice place to hang out. I hold military service in the highest regard, and I'd like to express my admiration and respect for all of you who have chosen the profession of arms as a career, or who have served previously. I'm very interested in history, international affairs, and military matters. I read as much and as often as I can. Another activity of mine is building model kits of military aircraft and vehicles. Russian/Soviet subjects are among my favorites.

I used to build models too, but on Guy Fawkes night they often became victims of firecrackers.

Re: Hello from the USA
Hello when I was up to 11 years old I tried to make various models of aircraft and ships but failed epicly due to lack of skill and the right tools especially with the paint job due to the lack of an airbrush. However I did succesfully build a few aircraft models, my best being an RAF P-40M Kittyhawk and a french Leo.451 bomber.

Cool, will you be finishing it in Russian markings, or Ukrainian? Are you building the 1/48 kit?
I've never built a Flagon. Maybe someday.
Good luck with your model.

I all love those old Cold War Soviet jets, with the enormous fuselage and small cockpit.
I don't know if you knew it, but apparently not all Su-15s were left in bare metal, isn't that interesting?

Indeed, however the paint scheme displayed on the box is all red, I looked up historical paint schemes and am going with one of those.Draco wrote:T_90MS_Tagil wrote:Russian Markings, Ill we have to check the scale again, I do no think it is correct.Draco wrote:T_90MS_Tagil wrote:I've got an Su-15 Flagon Model I'm currently working on.
