I live outside of San Francisco, CA. 

Politically I am opposed to any left or right extreme, and support the idea of self-governance. 

I strongly dislike my government.

I never introduced myself either and I don't live outside of San Fran but otherwise I agree with your politics.

But but but... what about grandfathering? Was that actually a requirement back in 2010?

Yes, it was a rule in 2010 because I had to introduce myself after being asked by a mod and being told it was a forum rule
