When it comes to Syria army progress.
Is too early to celebrate anything. They are spread too much and any major offensive

last a decade if not more. War will not end with the territorial advance of Syrian army.
But only when Turkey ,Jordan SAudi Arabia stop arming jihadist ./terrorist to fight Syria army.
Israel will never stop its aggression  in the south but in their flank is more difficult to hold territory for jihadist..

You are right about everything in your post Vann. The only stop these countries from supporting terrorism, is to always have a hand on their throat, support Hezbollah against Israel, support the Houthis against the Saudis and support the PKK against Turkey. This is the only to stop these countries.

Since the 1990s the war has been almost continuous in the area, with the US and their allies trying always to find some war to feed against Russia and their allies. The US and allies have been good promoting wars, but Russia and allies have been good fighting them.

The war will continue long time and may go to worse.

I expect Russia to do what you said. The US and allies are crazy to put the Kurds in their side, but this is not the reality. They are trying hard to cause a war between the Kurds and Iran, but I do not expect Iran to be fooled. It is obvious who is back.

Anti-IS rebels? Given that there is a small ISIS enclave in the extreme SW of the country, nestled between Jordan, ZioNazi-occupied Golan and US-backed FSA monkey-troops, its rather rich to suggest they are in any way "anti-IS".

Still waiting for ANY of the fake news media brothels in the West to twig onto the existance of this ISIS enclave and ask some questions as to why its still there and not crushed into a bloody paste by "anti-IS" coalition forces....

More of this please and less clutter. Its getting almost a chore to browse trough this section to keep up to date. The sad part is that most of the people posting clutter also contribute the good stuff.
Perhaps continue that "debate" in a different section?

PMU militias reach the Syrian border. They have a mandate from the Iraqi PM to secure the border with Syria down to Jordan and they have stated they will only deal with the legitimate Syrian government on the other side. Hence the reason the US is so keen to seize the Syrian side of the border first with their FSA flunkies. The "pipe dream" dies for the Americans, allies and the Gulf states if they cannot hold this territory. This is one of the main motivators for this action in Syria.

In all seriousness though kurds are more likely to be kosher jew proxies since their "independence" benefits the israelis more because it weakens their traditional enemy and they have the potential to be anti-iranian sunni zionist puppets. kurdistan also runs absolutely between Iran and Iraq which will create a jew buffer zone zone against Iran, together with a possible proxy war against iran on its own territories. Just as Kurds are secularized now they could become radicalized by zionist and Gulf funding and serve as the next takfiris. If they managed to radicalize central asia and the caucasus, they can radicalize the kurds to become bearded proxy goatfuckers.

It is clear what the US and Israel want. We have here a lot of propaganda by the way they want. Also we know what the US and Israel want with Syria, with Lebanon, even with Russia...

But in this world, it is not only what the US and Israel want.

The words of Russia about the Kurds of Syria:

    http://www.thebaghdadpost.com/en/story/10592/Russia-to-maintain-working-contacts-with-Syrian-Kurds-Putin

Putin thus commented on reports about Russian specialists’ contacts with Syrian Kurds.

He stated that the Kurdish factor is a real factor in the situation in Syria and Kurdish armed formations are taking part in combat operations against ISIS and are among the most combat efficient units.

"we consider it right to maintain working contacts with them, even at least for avoiding possible collisions and situations that could create threats to our servicemen,"

"There is no secret here: unlike other countries, we do not announce arms supplies to Kurdish formations and they don’t have any special need for our supplies as they have other sources of receiving these weapons. We do not think that we need anyhow to intensify this work,"

The Kurds like the shii Iraqis are receiving weapons from the US, but there is a strong propaganda against the Kurds in order to promote rejection to them in pro-Russian environments, despite to receive lower level armament than the shii Iraqis.

The Kurds were a US proxy from day one and this is why Erdogan is making an alliance with Russia, this is all you need to know about the asshole Kurds.

    https://southfront.org/us-backed-sdf-is-concerned-over-iraqi-pmu-operation-against-isis-at-border-with-syria/

I don't know the numbers of Russian or Iranian forces in Syria but they need to increase immediately because this conflicts(also Iraq) have entered a critical phase. The NATO assholes are going all in, all you have to do is listen to the French bastard when he met Putin.

This is logical move, to protect the Tabqa AB and to create buffer zone on other side of Euphrates, and deny a place for gathering reinforcements for IS close to the Raqqa.

They will probably take all the villagers from other side of euphrates all the way toward Deir Ez Zor.
That is maybe a good scenario for SAA if they need to go to Deir Ez Zor fast, if not, not so great.

ISIS can no longer create large-scale offenses, they will be reduced to raiding tactics. I helped push them out of Tabqa, so I know what they have been reduced to.

There is no tactical need buffer zone when ISIS cannot take shit. They are done,

The plan is not what you propose, it's cute you think that really internet and all.

    The plan is very simple.

Force them out of Raqqa (leave a route open), let them siege Deir and then take Deir thus completing one of the four main goals of my country in Syria.

The thing I don't get is why is Russia, SAA and Allies protecting the Kurds from Turkey. Let the Turks attack Manbij and other Kurdish regions? Why is Russia and the SAA acting as buffer zones between Turkey and Kurds? If the Kurds are fucking the SAA, let the Turks help you with the Kurds.

US will not go to war over the kurds, Turkery, however, is a formal state and the US would side with them on this matter.

A time will come where the SAA and Kurds fight, however, for now, that time is not now the SAA knows this and the kurds know this.

The kurds will not agree to some measure of self-governing, they want to be their own nation by taking parts of Iraq and Syria.

The US can support this effort but to do this would require UN effort which Russia alone can prevent.

Defeating ISIS is merely a stage of the war, once they are gone well we enter phase two.

Force them out of Raqqa (leave a route open), let them siege Deir and then take Deir thus completing one of the four main goals of my country in Syria.

i know what is the goal and interest of US in Syria. For this part of operations.

And one question for you, were there any serious IS resistance in that area?

After we seized Tabqa no, ISIS is just being an annoyance at best, they have been broken and are no longer a serious threat. Sure things have to be taken from them but they will retreat whenever attacked now because they cannot handle it anymore.

That is semi right, It ALL comes down to Deir. We want it, Russia wants it.

Without Deir the kurds will become much less attractive for the US and the kurds know this.

Deir is literally do or die for both side, whoever takes it wins the war pretty much.
