Re: Agriculture and Industry killing us
The American Diabetes Association is a criminal outfit. None of the medical associations is an authority on medical science. They have
been shown to misquote peer reviewed research in their summary "papers" to push their corrupt Big Pharma and Big Agro driven agenda.
Every medical association should be treated as a political action committee and treated with the appropriate contempt. Only go to the
source research for advice, if you can find it.

A wonderful talk giving insight into the reality of atherosclerosis. The established view of heart disease is medieval garbage.
We had the non-qualified criminal insider clown Ancel Keys foisting a mechanism for heart disease that is not based on any
empirical evidence and this utter garbage has been shoved down our throats by governments and medical associations.
Next time your cardiologist tells you to go on a statin and to guzzle industrial seed oils (aka "vegatable" oils) tell him to get
f*cked.

Re: Agriculture and Industry killing us
So microbes are responsible for many diseases that were previously misunderstood
1) Ulcers were treated by Big Pharma crap without understanding that they were caused by acid quenching bacteria.
2) About 40% of chronic back pain cases are due to acne bacteria.
Now we have Alzheimer's and beta-amyloid plaque which is a response to a viral attack.
In my opinion atherosclerosis also involves microbe damage. They are a clotting process (same chemical triggers involved as
regular clotting) and more than likely not merely due to damaged LDL.

Gut health directly controls metabolic health. If you want to get heart disease and/or Alzheimer's keep eating the high
carb diet and have snacks between meals.

The rotten paradigm is maintained by the corrupt elite. There will be no paradigm shift without those elites losing power. So it
is not going to happen.

Pharma studies are manipulated trash. This is true for the "pre-filtering" of trial participants reason alone. This totally skews
any findings.

Re: Agriculture and Industry killing us
An example of a larper flip. Saladino has betrayed the people looking for the truth about food. He is now basically a shill for Big Agro.
1) That traditional tribal people are obsessed with honey does not imply that it is normal to eat it every day. Saladino leaves out the
show stopper detail of intermittency. Tribal people did not find honey every day and gorge on it, it was a rare find.
2) Low carb "insulin resistance" is a lie. Insulin resistance results from the overload from blood glucose from high carb diets. How
can normal (and slightly lower) blood glucose result in cells down-regulating their GLUT receptors? They do not have a stress
that causes a cell-level metabolic response. Real insulin resistance results in overshooting and sustained high insulin levels after
every meal. These sustained high insulin levels are pro-inflammatory and drive the metabolic syndrome. On low carb you do not get
such an insulin response.
3) The claim that there is not enough insulin response on carnivore diets to signal the kidneys to save electrolytes is vapid. There is
an insulin response to everything put in the mouth, including protein and fat. Yes, fat also produces an insulin response but much lower
compared to protein and especially carbs and sugar. Insulin is also triggered by drinking mineral water. It is rather obvious, once you get
enough information, that humans have not evolved to eat high carb diets and to eat 24/7/365. So why would they need sustained
high insulin levels for the kidneys to do their job? Eating honey every day is not genetically appropriate. Eating carbs every day is not either.
4) Intermittent fasting is essential regardless of what Saladino asserts. Humans did not evolve stuffing their faces every day. Take non-alcaholic
fatty liver (metabolic syndrome key feature) as an example. The liver can process fructose without accumulating fat but it has to have time to
clear it out. The reason why the liver accumulates fat is because it can't keep up with over-eating. High insulin also makes fat cells insulin
resistant. This does not mean that there is no fat accumulation, but it is harder for the liver to unload its fructose-derived fat. Humans and
other mammals turn fructose into fat because that is a survival feature. It also reflects that fruits were not consumed every day in ample
amounts but were intermittent/seasonal.
Saladino's personal problems on carnivore require more analysis and proof than what he is giving. Carbs and honey do not have electrolytes
but they do deplete vitamin B complex members. There is a problem with the carnivore diet and that is cooked meat. Cooked meat has
its vitamin C destroyed as well as other enzymes that are very helpful for digestion. So the ancestrally-correct carnivore diet would be
raw. But that is not practical since butchered meat is contaminated with bacteria because of the industrial abatoir process. For example,
cows get covered in their own shit during transport and they are not cleaned to some high standard before butchery. Down-stream butcher
handling of abatoir meat is contaminated with all sorts of bacteria. They do work in a sterile environment and all of their cutting utensils are
not sterilized after every cut. You can tell that at the store level the handling introduces contamination such as in the case of cold cuts because
the cutting equipment is not cleaned sufficiently. So you need to at least sear the surface of any meat cut and not keep cold cuts for too long.
Eggs are produced under industrial farming conditions where the chickens are not free range and are stressed health-wise. Salmonella is a real
issue for most eggs you can buy. You would also not want to consume pork raw under any conditions.
