Actually not. The ship was used as a floating MLRS battery, and this specific cadre shows it while shooting. It was using on board Ogon 140 mm rocket system. Quite interesting, as it is very short range, like 10 km or something.
It seems that it was hit as a collateral damage, and sunk because of ammunition stored on board detonated.

According to the operational headquarters of Belgorod, there is still fighting and shelling going on but appears the Wehrmacht were handled properly this time and stopped at the border.
I am sure there were plenty of officers worried about cross border raids, but until they actually happened the higher ups probably thought they had more important issues to deal with.
That the first raids were so pathetic was a gift to the Russians because it seems now they are taking it seriously and the orcs will struggle to succeed in future.

A relatively short range bombardment system used by large landing ships and also hovercraft like the AIST class for delivering a shit ton of HE on the beach as you approach to deal with mines and any wire or other barriers and of course any enemy positions just as you come in to drop off troops or vehicles.
The older rockets were HE Frag and incendiary, they had a range of 4.5km while a newer rocket with double that range has been developed...

My point was that to strike anything there, this ship had to parade in front of Russian troops, and in range of let's say Kornet system. As it looks like Russkie were looking for this ship for a while, it turned out that it was towed & covered at different locations from Odessa to Nikolayev and back. And finally caught by surprise. No more peremoga commercials to be filmed, how sad ...

The good thing is that their response times have dramatically shortened to allow engagement of targets launching attacks, which is a very important skill to have in modern combat.
Trying to get the enemy between when they start shooting and when they start scooting is the critical skill... you need detection and some mobile method of engaging the target before it moves again... on land that appears to be recon drones together with Suicide drones...
As far as I know, the Russians did not target civilian objects in the large cities of Ukroshitstan. The attack on the border town is nothing more than provoking the Russians to finally destroy that Nazi shithole called Kiev.

I rather suspect Ukrainian want to push russian to send more soldiers on the eastern ukraine, away from the Donbass so that their counter offensive encounters less defences around Crimea.
The drone attacks on Moscow is also to push Russia spend its cruise and ballistic missile as an answer against targets that are not linked to their counter offensive.
It's a bit of a last hope plan but if Russia falls for it they could have bad surprises in the south east. Ukraine will try yo push only in one direction, very likely Crimea.
By now I am already sure that Russia will not use up its stock of cruise missiles as well as missiles from the 9M723 and 9M729 systems, both from the Iskander system. Be sure that there is also a supply for a possible conflict with the NATO pact.
That story of the Ukroshitstan offensive is something that has been talked about for months. On the other hand, the Russians have long since mobilized hundreds of thousands of soldiers and NOBODY is talking about the fact that the Russians could go on the offensive. There is not only one side of a coin but always two sides. I am convinced that the Russians already have enough soldiers at least for the war in the entire border zone with Ukroshitstan (Sumy, Chernigov, Kharkov) as well as in the southern liberated areas.
A burning building in Shebekino and several half-broken windows in residential buildings in Moscow are not a signal for Moscow to go to war. That is the key, that is, Russia did not declare a state of war and it is obvious that Russia did not give the GREEN light to hunt the Nazis in Kiev. Can Russia do that even though no one is asking that question here on the forum... YES, IT CAN....
Keep in mind what the information delivered to the 6+bln people on the planet.
There is a military operation going far, far away. This operation is being carried by Russia, our good buddy who sended us medicines, fertilizers and crop when we needed that. And whose firefighters were here after an earthquake. Our good buddies are being hit by terrorists, who attack civilian buildings using civilian drones, which is utterly stupid as they can do close to zero damage other than terrorize the population. Our good buddies don't do that, they are trying to precisely target the terrorists and spare the population. Oh yes, we know what the terrorists are. And yes, we know who sponsors them. I will go to the local store, and search for something with 4 at the beginning of the barcode, to support our buddies in struggle against terrorists.

Not that American media isn't the greatest cesspool on this planet ever, but this screenshot seems misleading. It's a news banner that wraps around fresh "news" regardless of the main broadcast. It's a possibility that this just came on while they were covering some building demolition in America.
(add to the fact that the person in front and the architecture of the building is a clear giveaway of the location)

Nope. Some broadcasters even showed the whole building from different angles while declaring "Moscow hit by drones".
This chic is some high figure in republican structures, responsible for POWs, KIA and MIA. I watched her back in Summer, when they were dealing with collecting remains of Ukrowehrmacht from the fields of LNR. She is not only competent but hot, too

In 2023, the Russian industry produced more than 600 tanks. This was stated on June 1 by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev during his visit to the Prudboy combined-arms training ground in the Volgograd region.
"If we take the most significant things: shells, cannon artillery, the production of tanks, then these figures are very impressive. This year alone, our industry has produced more than 600 tanks, " Medvedev said in a video of an address to soldiers posted on his VKontakte social network page.
The deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council called the impressive pace of increasing defense production in Russia over the past year, while noting that he himself did not expect that it would be possible to deploy production so quickly.
According to him, by this time, Russia has reached the level of production of military and special equipment, as well as weapons of destruction, in most parameters, which for some time seemed fantastic. However, even with such results, the country's defense industry still has a lot to do.
Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, during a visit to the Volgograd region, announced the recruitment of more than 134 thousand people from January to May 2023, RIA Novosti reports . The official published a report on the trip on VKontakte .
“According to the Ministry of Defense, from January 1 to May 31 [2023], more than 134,000 people were recruited into the [ RF ] Armed Forces,” Medvedev said.
Medvedev also called impressive the pace of increase in defense production in Russia over the past year. He compared this with the experience of the period of the Great Patriotic War.
Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, as part of a visit to the Prudboy combined-arms training ground in the Volgograd region , said that the leadership of Ukraine behaves like a “terrorist”, and terrorists need to be eliminated.
