Affirmative Action in the military

Is there any other country in the world that uses affirmative action in it's military?

Taking other races of people who score low but letting them get into jobs they shouldn't be doing? Or the big US plan to "fully man 2 nuclear submarines with women".

Any other country do that?

What about inequality in the military? Does any other country let a certain race/gender not do their work for the day in the military and just sit around and study their books on the job so they can pass their qualification exams?

Or is the US the only country that's taken on that task which appears to have severely eroded it's capability? USS Port Royal grounding itself in Hawaii, Fires on US aircraft carriers, USS San Francisco crashing at full speed under the sea into a mountain.....US Air Force admitting in news they have been failing their nuclear mission...installations being disqualified.....Nukes accidentally flown across the US...

With the US cut to near nothing and about to have it's military cut even more....did they royally screw themselves over? Now gays are going to be allowed in and openly claim in uniform they are gay (always were gays but they were required to remain professional and keep their private lives private)



Doesn't it seem like the powers at be set up America to fail? Is there any other country in the world that used affirmative action in it's military?

I don't know of any nation that uses affirmative action in its military... including the US.

Bosnia War....Black General was in charge of Ramstein Air Base. Only US plane that could fly into Bosnia was C-130 due to mountainous terrain, low cloud cover/visibility, short runway, steep approach, and airport landing system....Only C-130 plane went there.

A Black US Congressman wanted to go to Bosnia....Black Air Force General over Ramstein decided he was going to fly Black Congressman Brown into Bosnia in style...aboard larger fancier aircraft. White Colonel's under the General said "No, that plane can't land there"....Black General relieved them of Command and ordered the plane to go in.

Plane crashed, all died. why? Affirmative Action....Politics.

The entire WORLD knew only C-130 could land there. President Bill Clinton's wife had to fly into Bosnia on a little C-130.

What happened to that Black General? Was he tried by a Court Martial? Charged with murder?

Nope.....he was given a cubicle to run at the Pentagon his last 2 years. He retired and killed himself.

Only reason he wasn't held accountable....Affirmative Action.

There is no affirmative action in the US military. It is merit based. You're talking nonsense.

I bought Soldier of Fortune magazine for most of the 1980s and 1990s for the few and far between articles on Soviet and Russian military equipment, and it was continually publishing stories of this nature. They tended to focus on women in the military rather than race related issues. Things like units having a quota of women required to make the grade meaning that a lot of men who passed missed out when all the women failed but got in because of the quota. Stories about logistics units that couldn't do their jobs because the women who failed the requirements failed because they didn't have the strength to carry around the stuff they needed to be able to carry around.
Tests to make sure they could do their jobs were rigged because the boxes they were carrying were empty because they couldn't carry full ones.
On exercise the men did the work the women couldn't do.
When called into a combat zone the women suddenly got pregnant so the units went to war short of personnel.
Other stories like women demanding combat roles because they claimed being denied these opportunities limited their progression through the ranks even though stats showed they already were moving through the ranks faster than men on the front line do.

There are lots of stories like this...

I met a girl in the Navy once. She jumped off the ship at sea 3 times....she didn't want to be there. She eventually got pregnant to get off the ship and stay on shore.

...Then they tried to put her on the ship again she racked up $40,000 in debt....if you have too much debt they keep you on shore.

She was wise in her tactics and kept herself off the sea. She made it to E-6....and I got sent away to a different area. She may well have higher rank now.



I have many stories of Affirmative Action failures.

I will leave it at that.

what bullshit, the lst thing the military needs is this shit, quotas of all kinds are already a discrimination, and surprise surprise the most ones are for "leading jobs" no quotas for dirty hard work

would be funn to watch if woman would try to join special forces not even 1 would pass or even ground troops marines etc. with no "woman leniency bonus" not much would be left

here a nice military job for them "brothel battalions" with a branch in every base were soldiers after duty can go and have some fun and let out ther testosteron go females!

Wasn't there a USN ship that got the nickname "The Love Boat" after the famous TV series because as soon as it was ordered to a war zone all the women on board suddenly got pregnant and they had to delay the deployment while they got replacements?

How is it in Russian military?


Does skinny petite girl working in Command Post with blond hair and breasts get awards all the time.....or is it people who actually do work?
