ah the Serbian T-90 i remember when the first images of this tank was released i was hoping all Serbian T-84s would be upgraded to this standard ... i know Serbia has still not fully recovered from Nato's bombing ... the SNP in Scotland was opposed to bombing Serbia .... what the media failed to report and still fails to report that Serbia lost a great big chunk of it's country to what can be termed as "immigrants from Albania" and the ethnic Kosovans (serbs) 200,000 were driven from their centuries old homeland it is akin to America losing California to ethnic Mexicans declaring Independence and the non Mexicans drivien out the by the ethnic Mexicans ... America wouldn't stand for it or Essex and Kent (in England) declaring itself an islamic state independent from the rest of the UK that wouldn't sit well in England
i still don't like they new Serbian Helmets they look to much like Nazi stahlhelms
Yeah often called by people "Serbian T90", as it truly shares number of components with it. Some domestic products, some French and Russian.
Yeah, Kosovo is about 15% of Serbian territory and some 350.000 our people lived there, alot more though history tho but due to better life in Belgrade, Nis and other bigger countries ppl were often moving North, on other hand Kosovo was alot better for life than Albania so they often were immigrating there and thats what we get now. Now except in northen parts of Kosovska Mitrovica there are basically no Serbs on Kosovo, 1 family in Priština only atm or so.
Helmet is dubbed M-97, and its copied from the Western designs actually, http://www.armyequipment.com/proizvod.php?idP=11, its made by Mile Dragić company. Serbian M97 is based on "Personnel Armor System for Ground Troops" or shorter PASGT.
American ECH
French Spectra
Japanese Type 88
They all very much remind of German WW2 helmets, coz.. they all based great solutions from that helmet
