Yes, there are geniuses here on the forum who wrote that "Russia cannot produce more than 50 T-14 tanks in one year".
The influence of the Western media is a miracle, as can be seen from some members of the forum.
And while Russia has a FUNCTIONAL tank manufacturer, that is Uralvagonzavod, some members of the forum still write nonsense. I guess their media conveys such an image to them because there is no or poorly developed production of tanks in their countries.

Weight will always be a huge negative. Heavier it becomes, harder it will be to control and be able to navigate around the terrain especially on muddy paths.

Hence why western tanks would be borderline useless in most parts of the world that isn't a desert.

Still useful if you can move into cities and shot directly at enemy positions.

Wagner pays better than russian army thus best russian soldiers are in wagner. Giving them t-90M is the right choice since they will make better use of it in their operation. Standard army is sticking with defencive position and we saw how they lost lines of tanks to artillery because they weren't trained.

Mercenaries all over get paid more than standard military guys. At that, to get the good wages in Wagner or any PMC, you need to have plenty of experience hence they tend to be older average than standard soldier.

That said, Russian army pays very well, one of the highest in a government agency. Even better than a lot of private. That said where you will make money in it is contract soldiers hence why soldiers who were good and want to stay on also sign contracts. I would wager those contract soldiers get paid around as much or better than Wagner.

I'm curious what Wagner will do with that new HQ of theirs? I would like to see Wagner also get involved in MIC (open their own production lines and compete for government contracts).

Mercenaries are much more motivated and much more cautious since they don't have the support from the gov. They are better soldiers.

Wagner did all the job in Syria and now iq doing much of the offensives in Ukraine. They are way better than russian army soldiers. That's why they get the best tanks. Much more useful with wagner than wit russian army.

That isn't true at all. While Wagner is doing wonderous job, it was actually the VDV and Russian naval infantry that did a lot of the heavy work. At first Wagner was used as scouts and that also worked well. It was only recent they are going full assault units too.

In Syria, majority if the fighting and gaining was Russian spec op units. Wagner acted as support too.

VDV lost a shitton of its vehicles in Kiev. They are not even trained for tanks.

Wagner is composed military trained personnel.

And I never said russian army isn't fighting in Ukraine. I said most of the ongoing offensive are done by wagner. So that's normal for them to get t-90M which are better for supporting them than t-72 without thermals from the reserve.

Russian army holding defensive positions can hold them with dug in t-72 and t-80 easily. No need for t-90M.
