    350 km I highly doubt.

However, the 140km range was indeed the initial batches.

Now it is somewhere around here:

    http://forumimage.ru/show/8411940

    Range (fighter sized): 250km-300km.
    Simultaneous engagement: 8 targets.
    Ground: 2 targets.

N035, new IRST, full missile/laser warning suit, as well as superior flight performance.

Su-30MKI is a beast too though.
shouldnt this be between Super-su30 and Su35 ?

Well the Super 30 does not exist yet and its specifics are not yet clear by any means.

Su-35S is the latest iteration of the flanker family, so obviously it is going to be better than MKI.

However, if the rumours are true then Super Su-30MKI upgrade will become once again the apex fighter of the flanker family, if not in terms of airframe performance then atleast in terms of avionics with all the rumoured AESA radar and other stuff that it is going to incorporate.

Both aircraft will continue to receive upgrades during their operational lives... it actually makes a lot of sense where the Su-35 will likely receive systems intended for the PAK FA, while the MKI will likely get systems that end up in the FFGA.

Once both aircraft are operational together it makes even more sense to have systems and equipment commonality... the Su-35 can probably hold a larger AESA than the smaller PAK FA so its radar might be slightly bigger, but the PAK FA will always be stealthier and have a better power to weight ratio etc etc.

So can we expect Type 30 engine in both MKI and Su-35S by the next decade or will the upgrade to 117 should suffice?

The most advanced and best equipped Flankers in service at the moment are not in Russian service.

That was only because India and China were spending money buying new model Flankers and the Russian Air Force was not.

The Russian Air Force however is now spending money and will want commonality between the Su-35 and PAK FA, so the Su-35 will likely have very first 5th gen avionics... sort of -5th gen, where operational PAK FAs will initially have similar stuff which is rapidly upgraded to fully operational kit.

the stuff installed on the Su-35 and PAK FA will likely evolve and be upgraded regularly with new equipment as needed.

So can we expect Type 30 engine in both MKI and Su-35S by the next decade or will the upgrade to 117 should suffice?

Depending on what the Indian government wants to buy... yes.

It would make sense for the Russians to maintain commonality between the Su-35 and PAK FA in terms of parts, sensors and weapons.

A future light 5th gen fighter might replace the Su-35 and Mig-35 or it might not.

Absolutely, with all the new flankers Su-35S, Su-30SM & Su-34, the Russian Air Force will become/is becoming as modern as any other air force of the world.

And with the T-50, Russian Air Force may become world's  number one surpassing USA, if not in sheer quantity then at least in terms of quality Very Happy

Ah, I want HAL to collaborate with Mig and develop our version of F-35( good stuff only lol!  lol1 ) aka a 5th gen MCA that would support Su-50 in future.
