Another American Russophile here. I am a big fan of Russian literature, especially the works of Dostoevsky.
I find Russia a fascinating country, with a fascinating history. I am even attempting to learn the Russian language!!
It is going slowly but surely, but I already know the cyrillic alphabet!!
I find Russia a bit opaque, and hard to find many people from there. I am interested in the Russian perspective on a number of things.
