This is a devestating blow. But this was not GRAD. GRAD will never deliver such precision, not in a million years, to much direct hits despite the fact those vehicles were packed tightly. Two Grad batteries for example, closely deployed to eachother shooting at a target only a few hundred meters away will already spray significantly. This was either an aistrike, self propelled howitzers, some Smerch or TOS-1 barrage. I can't find any other explanation for that. This was some precision strike. Anything close to MRLS that could have done it, is an upgraded version of the TOS-1. Other than that, guided strike. GRAD ? no way in this dimension. Maybe in one where Grad has same precision as LAR-160. You have to have minimum 2 Grad battalion to achieve such destruction in such close proximety. Whatever the hell it was, this should teach the Ukrainians to take more innitiative fighting actual threats rather then doing some embarassing TV propaganda and getting themselves entangled into town sieges. If the rebels really possess THAT many Grads, it could be only because Ukrainians left half their army on Crimea .....

According to strelkov, they've reached marinovka and completed the encirclement. Let's hope that they can hold their positions.

It is evident that the Jewish snakes simply couldn't imagine that we may possibly perform a tactical retreat. They fall straight into the trap although Russians do this all the time that is hardly a surprise anymore. They are so incompetent.

    Notice VICE bias.. LOL
THey cannot hide it anymore.. Everyone is talking about mayor losses to the Uki army , even in MP.net forums
but VICE reports are about how Rebels are being killed.  Never a single mention in Simon report also of who is killing
civilians..something so important  Shocked   the question is simply not asked ,who is bombing your cities with civilians ,womens and children inside madam? so simple question not made..  is like they are never interested to get people
attention on the warcrimes of the uki army.. instead of how foreigners fight with Rebels and Russia help to them.

You can imagine that a journalist risking his life and going to a warzone and if he is not reporting that one side is indiscriminately bombing civilians women and children..that something really wrong is going with that media channel
and instead he focus on the humanitarian food they give to civilians when they arrive after Rebels retreat.

Hard to say the full extent of the UA and Natzgvardia losses. We will know when the smoke clears I guess.

With the Uks pinned between the Seps and the Russian border, things could get real nasty for them if Russia looks the other way while Seps and volunteers move through the safe space.

Russia across the border ,can become the Eyes of the Rebels , and tell them exactly the Ukie forces movements ,
and where to Aim with their artillery. or Fly a drone on Russia airspace and provide the rebels with real time video
of their artillery attacks on ukie forces.. in short they are in a BIG disadvantage there. It seems the Kiev junta was so desperate to encircle the Rebels and close the border for none to escape ,that they exposed into a very weak position.

I would be surprised if they didn't. I bet Russian satellites are keeping eye on the theater as well.

The SE militia estimated about 50 killed just in the fights for Stepanovka and Marinovka. The Ukes in the east portion of the corridor (east of Marinovka)  are pretty much doomed. The ones in the western portion can probably get away if they've got enough supplies.

Well, we can have the estimate.
It's assumed that there had been about 5000 UA soldiers in the cauldron.

That includes three infantry brigades, two "battalions", and some number of natguard too.

Quite a tide turning event, I must say  Wink

Estimates vary from 2000-5000 troops. No one seems to know for sure....probably about 3000 is the most realistic estimate.

Latest from Strelkov is that they are shelling Marinovka heavily trying to open up an escape route. The militia has suffered losses but are holding their ground

mp net is a freaking joke, get same warning after very first post. A thread..actually a rant about Vladimir Putin being a dictator and russia a regime, so i pointed out some facts about how undemocratic US and their lapdogs are, how regime and genocide is ok for US and NATO dogs and immidiatley got same warning.

That place a fucking joke. Most of the posts there are not even worth to be used as toiletpaper.

Denying of Kiew Sniper shootings, like it never happened. Completle blackout of leaked phone calls to genocide russian speakers in South and East Ukraine, calling it a conspiracy theory for pointing out that IDF veterans fought site by site with Nazis, while even the Hareez has proven that to be true.

That place is just a forum for russophobians.

Those 3,000 - 5,000 Ukie soldiers will be far more valuable alive than killed.. if they surrender it will be a huge blow
to Kiev.. not only militarily .. but also politically. IT will force Kiev to negotiate with the Rebels forces for peace ,and it will show the world but also all Ukrainians that the Rebels are just normal people not terrorist and all they want is to defend their families and have a future.
