Another Canadian joins the fray

Hi, I am originally from the USSR but have been living in Canada since the late 1970s. I have no military background
but am interested in military issues and international politics. Fora such as this one are a valuable source of information
and after lurking I decided to join up and to contribute.

 Another Canadian, eh?

What can I say, there are so many of us with links to the ex-USSR and eastern Europe living in Canada.

There are more of us in places like Chicago and in the east in the US. In Canada, there are quite a few in the prairie provinces and of course many in Ontario.

Pal, there is no such thing as an american except native americans. You are all from europe or grandsons of people who were enslaved from africa.

Uhhh, I am unfortunately nothing but American... Excluding roots of course. In that case I am Polish-Italian-American...

To me that is so weird... I wouldn't think that Canada would be a "hotspot" for former soviet immigrants, maybe it is the colder weather!

 - Due to where I live, I get to meet lots of Canadians. They are always great people!

Just to be clear. My definition of American is any individual who holds a U.S passport. Just like any individual with a Russian passport is a Russian and does not necessarily have to be a Slav.

 - I was born here... My parents were born here... I hold a US passport! Thank you for once again proving to the world that the "average American" is an idiot.
