    The conflict in Yemen shows even the most expensive western equipment doesn't make you a capable combatant...


    Experience in the Middle East needs to be taken in context... of course a tank will fail if you don't use it properly.

    The point is that when kit is used by people who know what they are doing the results are more relevant.

    Meaning much of the experience in the ME is useless.

    Case in point where the Israelis used soviet kit it worked OK...

    Or can I make the case that British aviation is superior to US aviation based on the results of air combat in the Falklands...
