Hello there.

I've decided to join, due to the trolling/nonsense being spouted over on the usual forums which I've been a member of over the years, which makes it impossible to learn and partake in valueful discussions.

I'm here to learn and to hopefully add something to the community.

Good to have you aboard wilhelm; we have a lot of ex-members from mp.net here, maybe you'll see some familiar faces other than myself.

I'm not entirely sure this forum is any better in terms of valuable discussions; in the political sense I mean as the military-tech discussions here are top-notch; so I myself try and keep a presence on both forums. But that's just me.

Don't worry Wilhelm, this place is as full of nutters as Tank.net or Mp.net, just from the other side .

Sure, there are those who are biased to a certain country (hmm....) in this forum, but not nearly to the level of those other forums.

I've been long interested in Russian affairs, even when I was on the "other" side during the Cold War, although in fairness that was the USSR and not Russia.

Another lifetime, in any event.

Tanknet and MP are full of nutters, with this seasons flavour for being silly being Russia. It's been like that before with Iran.

Impossible to actually learn about current projects or programmes what with all the wailing.
Some people can't let go...

I hope to learn, and will stay out of internal arguments.
