After several suggestions that we change the banner... lets do it. Submissions should be no larger than the current banner 742 x 236, smaller is acceptable. Image can go left right or center of where it currently is. The content theme is totally at your discretion, obvious flaming will be discarded. Text on the banner should read "Russiadefence.net" or "Russia Defence Forum." Place your submissions in this thread. The winner will be upgraded to the Contributor user group. Customized rank can be discussed. Submissions will close on May 17th.

and thanks!, that Tunguska picture was the worst of them all to make it fit in. because it was part of an scale model box i had to make all the text on it "dissapear".

Can we not have the entire blue-steel frame for the Banner, because it is hard to squish all the new babies Russia gets into service all in one picture?

If it is a proper noun it can be Russia Defence Forum. I'm just trying to keep it like the URL as it makes it pop up at the top of Google. I think im ready to dump the Military out of it and just own Defence as the URL is set.

No, I am impressed. Much better than his usual leather jacket or tank suit or whatever.
Now if he was only wearing a Papaha, it would be perfect.
However for the banner he should be sneering or laughing or doing whatever it is he usually does.
Maybe faded out in a corner or something. I'd make it myself but I have zero shooping skills.

I like these 2 the most.
I prefer this type of mono-theme over a multitude of small pictures.
It does not have to be a real picture, it could be an info-graphic sort of a thing or even a drawing.
