Greetings from Sweden

Hello, all!

Long time lurker from MP, been following the Russian photos thread for ages, then the infamous Ukraine crisis thread since early maidan. Sad to see the old board go but I'm happy to find this new one where, hopefully, the information will keep flowing and I'm overjoyed to see some old faces here who ran afoul of the mods at MP.

About me, I'm a Swede frequently traveling to Moscow. I've had an interest (some would call it obsession) in Russia for about as long as I can remember, currently trying to learn the language and making painfully slow progress (seriously, how many consonants can there be in a single word???).

I probably won't post much here either but figured an introduction would be polite.

Russian is a hard language to learn, I learned a tiny bit of it before forgetting almost all of it. I thought it was fun to learn, though.
