Late intro from yet another refugee

Hi gents and ladies, i signed up a while ago now but i never noticed the into section here, so I guess its better late than never

People from that other site will know me, for anyone else im an englander who lives in the north west of england. Ive always had an interest in russia and its military, ive spent a bit of time in ukraine and crimea, the latter especially is a heaven on earth, its not perfect but its my favourite place in the world out of all the places ive travelled.

Quick question, can anyone name the place where im standing on my profile photo? Jageraus should get it.

for the longest time, on mpnet I thought you were a girl.
I have no idea why.
I think I thought Rodina was a feminine name.

Regarding the place, it looks like that famous old church in Crimea..

We never got along back on MP.net but I sure enjoyed your posts. I always thought you were a smart and well spoken poster.

It is quite gratifying seeing all the good members from MP net joining.

Thank you! i wouldnt say that we didnt get on, i just remember being suspicious at the beginning of your name, it was right in the aftermath of the odessa/ colorado beetle stuff. Mp.net makes you very suspicious of everyone haha.

Im happy to say this forum seems much friendlier, i signed up on themess but after seeing this place i havent even looked at that site, i cant be doing with the hassle that comes with it. So i guess this will be my home:)

Yes thats the one! Right on the grounds of hersonez, the ancient greek ruins. Beautiful place, though i had a bit of a run in with the police when they caught me taking a couple of beers into the grounds, that didnt go down well.
