    Is it a Su-35 "silent eagle" ?

    Is that true ?

Hold on, let me dial Mr. Pogosyan and ask him personally.

Seriously, what kind of answer do you expect on a public forum?

In English grammar this is called yes-no  question. Correct answer is yes or no Razz
More seriously - Su-35S was to be improved Su-27 frame with new engines and avionics/sensors (same as for PAK FA) so what more 5gen can be added here? Shocked

More composites, Izd-30 engines for real supercruising, RAM coatings, newer EW systems, AESA radar...

SU35 is basically highly modernised SU37 which saw the production, SU37 was only demonstrator.

Remember that there are two completely different "Su-35" versions. The first (Su-27M) was developed in late Soviet times, was ready around the late 90's but never entered service nor was mass produced. One of the prototypes was called "Su-37", and had 2D thrust-vectoring. The technologies developed for it (including TVC) were used instead first in the Indian Su-30MKI, then in Algerian and Malaysian Su-30MKA/MKM, and lastly in Russian Su-30SM.
Around 2006-2007, Sukhoi launched a completely new Su-35 (initially called "Su-35BM"), which is a much more modernized version, with newer and more powerful engines, avionics and deep changes to the airframe. This is the operational Su-35S.

Well, here is a bit of a curve. The next 4 Su-35's are going to Astrakhan instead of Millerovo. The 116th Training Unit acts as the enemy for the Aerospace Defense training center at Ashluk (S-300/400 SAM's plus radar units). Presently made up of 2 squadrons of Mig-29 (9-12's) of which only half look operational.

    War sells!

The Su-34 and Su-35 models are the pride of the Russian Armed Forces, Russia’s Deputy Defense Minister Yuri Borisov said. Foreign states are "lining up" to purchase Su-34 and Su-35 jets, which demonstrated their outstanding capabilities during the Syrian military operation, Russia’s Deputy Defense Minister Yuri Borisov said on Monday.

"Today, military forces are receiving such advanced models as the Su-34 and Su-35, with characteristics equal to those of Western models,” Borisov said.

“This is the pride of our armed forces. […] these samples have already demonstrated their combat capabilities, also in the Syrian conflict. Potential buyers are already lining up," Borisov told the Russian TV Channel Russia-24.

Depends, if project gets funding at all. In worst case they might get updated in decade or two with PAK FA subsystems without having any external modifications.

I have seen Pictures and videos of the SU 35 and I don't know why smoke comes out the plane sometimes, why is that? Just like in the third picture.

At high angles of attack, the air pressure in the pocket on the topside of the wing/body drops, decreasing air temperature, causing condensation.

Yes, afaik no smoke, but billions of water droplets. They make visible the air behavior around the aircraft.
Lift => induced drag => turbulence, vortices (this is also the reason of the winglets). In the center of a vortex there is a backwash, slipstream, so a pressure drop, so a temperature drop, like when I suck  the air between tight lips: feeling cold.
According to the characteristics of humidity and temperature of the air around the aircraft, at that point, you have the condensation in the vortices, as above written.
This at low speeds, yes, high angles of attack. The induced drag is the only drag that decreases with speed. So this effect is only at low speed.

Not sure if i got it entirely right, but this video talks about  the Su-35S at Dzemgi being officially put on combat duty (QRA) for first time, correct? One can only see R-73 and R-27ET missiles, but the AKU-170 launchers stares one in the face. Very Happy

Amateur video of a (grey cammo) Su-35S firing an R-73:

Also  an article and pictures of same event (QRA induction):

Putting the first Su-35S regiment to combat duty means all issues with they are now over and that their crews are now fully trained on them. I hope this regiment will be one of the first units, which will receive R-77-1 and R-37 missiles.

What adaptor would be needed to fit R-37M on Su-35S, do we know what is called and are there images of it? Thanks.

I think R-37M will use the same fixing points as R-33 does and MiG-31 have them under the body. Su-35S will have adopters for them and they could be similar to those for Kh-59 missiles.

Nor the 30SM's. In the case of the 35's suspect there were last minute adjustments in with getting the final aircraft certification and for both aircraft getting crews plus support systems in place for operations at Millerovo.
