Hello, my name is Denis and I have been following this forum for a while and have finally gotten around to registering.
I used to live in the former Soviet Union/Russia (Kolomna, Московская область) from 1973-1999 until I moved to the U.S.
I moved mainly because it was not very pleasant to live there at the time (Corruption, Poverty, Poor Infrastructure, etc) but I am very glad to finally see that most of the problems
of the older Russia/Soviet Union are getting solved. I graduated Moscow University in 1985 and worked on designing fighter jet engines for the government up until the collapse of the Soviet Union
in 1991. I found military related things extremely interesting from when I was young up to now. I love to read and study about modern and past weapons, armor, etc in my spare time.
With that, I wish to participate in this forum.
