A LOT of SAA guys are going to be sacrificed when Nusra launches HUGE offensive within the next 2 days. Hama city might fall. Putin gave Assad the middle finger and makes Assad realize Assad would have been killed last year had it not been for Russian military intervention. Putin makes Assad beg for military intervention again. Putin shows Assad who is boss.

SAA captured Jabal Hayyal west of Palmyra. Leith says Russia providing air support. Since no more planes are left, it is assumed air support is attack helicopters based at Shayrat.

    https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/tiger-forces-liberate-jabal-hayyal-northern-palmyra/

PS. I am not anti Russia. In fact it is difficult to support Russia in times like this because Russia is ruled by one man who has absolute power so Russia's actions are too random and too abrupt.

There's like thousands of hills in Syria. If it's about going around capturing hills here and there, don't even bother with the war. This is not a war. This is a joke. SAA is a joke. SAA never managed to capture Hayat village in Latakia. SAA is made up of Sunnis. They don't want to fight Sunnis. Bashar made the mistake of turning SAA into a Sunni army unlike the SAA built up by Hafez which was an Alawite army.

Jabbal Hayyal is not captured, as shown on the map. Leith Fadel is a fag. Yesterday he said Russia would not withdraw the planes. Today all the planes are withdrawn.

DPRK's 300mm MBRL looks good in terms of range and accuracy due to terminal guidance. From the recent tests the rockets covered nearly 150Km and one slide even shows the rocket striking a target inside a small island/hill. I think Syria need to get them instead of Smerch so that its a win-win situation with DPRK having business/revenue and Syria getting long range MRL to cater for Turkey and Israel if the need arise.

The big thing to watch is the Nusra offensive and how Russia will react, whether Russia will help SAA.

Putin has no choice but to finish off the jihadists in Syria or else Russia's enemies Turkey, Ukraine, Georgia will let them into Russia to do revenge car bomb attacks and Putin's political career will be over.

Nusra and friends launched huge offensive in northern Hama province. No Russian air force to stop them this time. If Hama city falls then it will be over for Assad because SAA morale will collapse.

A few Hind helicopters won't change the balance and it is impossible for SAA to capture Palmyra. SAA has never captured a single city. Even Qaryatain is under IS control.

Nusra says will launch HUGE offensive from Idlib province once Russian planes have left. Looks like Hama city would fall this time. We've seen how incompetent SAA is. SAA lost Idlib province in March last year basically run away with tails between their legs.

If they are stupid enough to launch a huge offensive then they will find their attack has BACKFIREd... Just because Russian aircraft are leaving Syria does not mean all of a sudden they have no attack options.

Putin has withdrawn the Syrian contingent of aircraft because there needs to be a political solution to the situation... not a biased one sided military imposed one.

    A well used battery

Nahh, just what happens when you paint your gun barrels white and fire sooty ammo...

Makes me wonder, wouldn't there barrels need replacing by now??

Probably not... they just need a clean...

Why don't you just f**k off, you terrorist sympathiser POS.... No-one here wants to read what some filthy demented Jihadist goat-fucker thinks or wants...

Big_Gazza... breathe in, breathe out. Calm down my friend... Laughing

Not about showing who is boss. About forcing Assad to negotiate on equal terms with the opposition instead of from a position of too much power... if the Russians just continue bombing Assads enemies then Assad does not even need to negotiate so why would he?

With Russian aircraft out of Syria they can still attack targets with cruise missiles and long range bombers, so any major offensive by any of his opponents would be suicide for them... so I hope they try it to be honest, but their absence should speed up the unification process and get Syrians together to fight the real enemy... those saudi sponsored proturkey fuckers.

PS. I am not anti Russia. In fact it is difficult to support Russia in times like this because Russia is ruled by one man who has absolute power so Russia's actions are too random and too abrupt.

Actually it is very consistent and sensible... Russia has been saying all along there can only be a political solution to who governs Syria legally and it does not have to be Assad. They have said Assad is the only legal representative of Syria which is why they supported him with aircraft etc.

I think Syria need to get them instead of Smerch so that its a win-win situation with DPRK having business/revenue and Syria getting long range MRL to cater for Turkey and Israel if the need arise.

They would be useful for some targets but most of the time you would use such systems against area targets... in which case the number of rockets is more important than range... Smerch would be better in that regard, but 150km range would be useful some times.

A few Hind helicopters won't change the balance and it is impossible for SAA to capture Palmyra. SAA has never captured a single city. Even Qaryatain is under IS control.

Russia has withdrawn its aircraft but still has Backfires and Blackjacks and Bears, and of course Kalibr in the Caspian...

Rebels offensive in Latakia. Because of the ceasefire, only rebels can do offensive, government cannot. What a joke. There should have never been a ceasefire in the first place.

From Kalerab in the other place. Anyone see this anywhere?

Btw there is something serious going on in Qamishli. Asyash started a mass arrest campaign, arresting over 100 NDF and SAA members and large force just came to the city and completely blocked off government controlled area, as if preparing to storm it. Its concides with conference in Rumeilan where its expected that canton system will be reformed to full federal unit.
