MP9s hmm... Russia getting rid of theirs that were issued to Vympel and Alphas? Only other option i can find plausible is if they came via YPG, as they might got some from one of major users.
SPAS-15 could be via Hesbolah, as they captured some from Israelis.

SPAS 15 has the old "non Picatinny" carry handle, Folding full stock and Long barrel choke mounted muzzle device it's most probably a private purchase from Italian Stocks (Carabinieri). It's probably a post 1999 rifle. Pre-99 have sheleton folding stocks.
Also MP9 is a dime a dozen and a lot of countries have bought and sold stocks of the weapons, It could very well be a French MP9 transited when the mood was smoother between Chirac and Al Assad junior.

Yeah but how it would end up in Syria in SAA hands via Italy? Mby some SAA unit obtained SPAS via Italy years ago but we never knew about it? I mean SPAS is quite rare weapon. There are far easier and more convinient ways to obtain weapons during conflict, in most cases exotic weapons end up in places like this by row of coincidences.
Wow, I bet CENTCOM enjoyed watching that fly in.Dima wrote:

#BREAKING: #Iran has reportedly launched balistic missiles on IS's positions near Makhmur in #Iraq for supporting Iraqi Army's offensive.
In February 2016, the Syrian Army managed to recapture the town of Athman, a few kilometers to the north of Daraa city, which for long served as a stronghold for FSA-affiliated factions. Ever since, local Reconciliation Committees launched negotiations to restore all kidnapped soldiers.
