Yes, but that was Tornados and Typhoons dropping bombs, not C-130 or C-5 paradropping supplies.

I doubt they will fly without fighter escort.

Also i doubt SyAF will make any drastic measures like attacking RAF. Also C-17A would be the most likely candidate for airdrops.

Some S-300 action would be enough to shut this BS down.

Looks like SAA decided siege is not working on Daraya and decided to go for broke, especially with Britain announcing air dropping arms to terrorists in Daraya starting June 1.

Putin made MORE concessions at Vienna, allowing the west to drop arms to terrorists. If this happens in Syria today, tomorrow the west will be dropping arms to terrorists who take over Russian cities. Putin beware. You head is not as secure as you THINK it is.

    Looks like a weird mix of Type 71/2 (100m) Type 86 (120 mm) and Type 89 (120mm).

Kurdish Forces Preparing to Attack Daesh Capital of Raqqa in Upcoming Hours

The US-coalition's aircraft have showered the Daesh "capital" of Raqqa with leaflets urging civilians to evacuate, a source told Sputnik. The Kurdish forces are preparing to start an offensive.

BEIRUT (Sputnik) — Kurdish defense forces have mobilized and are preparing to begin an offensive against Raqqa, the de facto capital of Daesh in Syria, with the help of the US-led coalition, a source close familiar with the matter told Sputnik on Friday.

According to the source, coalition aircraft dropped leaflets over the city on Thursday, calling on civilians to evacuate.

Syria has been in a state of civil war since 2011, with several opposition factions and terrorist groups seeking to topple the government of Syrian President Bashar Assad.

    http://sputniknews.com/middleeast/20160521/1040030464/turkish-military-syria-border.html

So according to kurds, Turkey has already sent military into Syria.  And as well:

    http://sputniknews.com/middleeast/20160522/1040033642/usa-commander-secret-syria-visit.html

It seems that US and Turkey are really planning to go full in on Syria so the ball is in Russia's and Assads hands.  If Russia lets Assad fall, then Russia will be out of Syria faster than you can say coupe, and all Russia put in will be for nothing.  And as well, Russia will look really weak if it wont do anything since Turkey sure had the balls to shoot down a Russian plane in Syrian territory with no repercussions.  I know the Russian officials say they have not forgotten.  But I think they may very well have.  Cause if I was in their position, I would order a strike right on that group and state that they were given no permission into Syria and that they are invaders.

Edit: Apparently the meeting of the US general in Syria was with SDF and other forces, which these forces are also supported by Russia and are against Turkey. So this whole thing is a mess.

It is hard to say really. But I imagine that yes, Russia will probably provide what is needed for the Kurds to kick the Turds out. Fact that US general met with SDF whom is also anti Turk, gives me an indication that the Turks are on their own regarding what ever little adventure they may attempt in Syria.

Although, it is best to wait to see if any other news comes up with regards to the supposed Turks with a couple of tanks and other equipment stated in Sputnik. There has been lots of rumors that ended up as false regarding what is going on.

Already the Turks are having a hell of a time even within their own country, so even adventuring out into Syria would be a death wish for them.

Lebanese Source: 2 US, French Intelligence Officers Captured by Hezbollah in Aleppo

TEHRAN (FNA)- Hezbollah has captured two US and French spies in its operations in Aleppo, a prominent Lebanese media source revealed on Saturday, adding that Hezbollah military chief Mustafah Badreddin was killed in retaliation for the same event.

"Hezbollah special forces took captive a senior field commander of the terrorists affiliated to Riyadh and two US and French intelligence officers working in the newly-founded joint operations room of Jeish al-Fatah in Aleppo in one of the regions controlled by al-Nusra Front in Aleppo," Majeda al-Haj, a prominent Lebanese journalist, wrote on al-Sabat news website today.

Al-Haj said that the joint operations room was set up so that the French, US and Saudi intelligence agents can directly command Jeish al-Fatah terrorist attacks in Aleppo and nearby regions.

She said the US and Saudi spies later designed an assassination plot and killed Badreddin in retaliation for the capture of these officers.

After his death, a senior politician disclosed that the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement is planning to launch massive military operations against the Takfiri terrorists in Syria in retaliation for his martyrdom.

"Unique military operations by Hezbollah against Syria's Takfiri terrorists will be conducted very soon," Wahib Wahibi told FNA on Tuesday.

He reiterated that Hezbollah's response to the Takfiri terrorists' crimes will come within the framework of its countetrerrorism operations
