Hi everyone and thanks for letting me join this forum. I'm very pleased to be here and first let me say to the moderators, I apologize as I made a post in the Egyptian Air Defense thread before introducing myself, so sorry about that . My username is Gomig-21 because I love that aircraft and think it's the most beautiful fighter ever designed with the combo delta wings and horizontal stabilizers, despite it's age. I'm posting from Boston, or just little north of the city and am Egyptian (been here for almost 30 years) and because of all the recent Egyptian military acquisitions from Russia and France, which the latter was the first to offer contemporary BVR missiles with the Rafales they sold which then makes this purchase of 48-50 MiG-29M's very interesting, just to see what type of BVR missiles Russia will incorporate with that purchase. It's also very interesting to me that the 2 Mistrals from France which were special ordered for Russia ended up in Egypt, making them (the Egyptians) interested in equipping them with KA-K52 Alligators! So much has happened in such a short period of time.

So I am very excited to be here and learn first hand about these deals and capabilities of all this equipment.
