GOVERNMENT FORCES GET FIRE CONTROL OVER GHANIM ALI-BISHRI TRIANGLE IN SOUTHERN RAQQAH COUNTRYSIDE
The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) Tiger Forces and pro-government tribal forces have got a fire control over the Ghanim Ali-Bishri Triangle in the southern Raqqah countryside following the liberation of as-Salam Alaykum village earlier today.
If government forces seize the Ghanim Ali-Bishri Triangle, they will get control over another important logistical point near the provincial border between Raqqah and Deir Ezzor.
They key problem of the government advance in the Raqqah countryside is that it dramatically extends the logsitical lines of the Tiger Forces and their allies operating in the area. Thus, they become vulnerable for raids and flank attacks of ISIS units deployed north of the Homs-Palmyra highway.

Good and very sobering, for the US, on the fight in Raqqa from AP. A couple of paras from it and the map.
Now in its seventh week, the assault to recapture the northern Syrian city of Raqqa from IS militants has ground down into a bloody battle of attrition from street to street, each trying to draw out and weaken the other. Having prepared for months, the militants have put up stiff resistance, using an extensive network of tunnels to strike behind their enemies, deploying land mines and suicide bombers and slowing the SDF advance.
“They are like rats. They pop up from underground and then disappear again,” said one SDF fighter on a frontline on the eastern side of the old city, which has become the focus on the battle.

Re: Syrian War: News #14
Still, ISIS seems to be losing more territory than Al Qaeda in Ghouta.I watched an ANNA news interview with a Liwa Al Quds member saying that fighting against ISIS is easier because they retreat while Al Nusra fights to the death. I guess this explains why Jobar and Daraa are completelly invincible while Raqqah is not, combined that Al qaeda is probably smarter than ISIS, and SAA is more humane.
The fact that nobody in the west gives a shit that the US bombs thousands of civilians in Raqqa while there were massive protests for the US doing the same thing in Vietnam proves that the West is only full of brainwashed shit for brains and that Russia shouldn't invest a kopeika in changing public opinion there.
Also since most jihadis in damascus and Daraa are locals why cant the SAA just kill their families who provide them sustinence and uphold their shitty sunni society? This will demoralize them, weaken their production capacity and when they start squeeling about civilian deaths the Syrians can just show that the families too are simply jihadis too( and they are). Since most families in Ghouta and Daraa have jihadi family members, I say that they should be killed as accomplices.
Nothing would make me happier than the Russians also murdering all those Uyghur Sunni squatters in Idlib.

That approach never worked in modern warfare and it's been tried countless times.
It makes sense as revenge for particular event but not for breaking enemy morale.

The only way to teach sunni reatards that bringing their families to a war zone is amoral is to kill them. Creating false flags with the white helmets is an event that justifies this. Every time the jihadis squeel on twitter about chemical attacks and every time the US or Israel bomb the SAA their families should be killed with good ol' TNT.
Even if HTS isn't demoralized they will have less helping hands growing their crops and producing their bullets. It will also curb sunni population growth, which is a good thing.
Also, why don't hezbollah bomb jew neighbourhoods anymore as a revenge for the countless christian and Shia deaths caused by Pissrael bombs in Syria?

It's working fine for jews. Instead of actually killing them, they just destroy their homes. Syria was imprisoning supporters of terrorism, but in time of war it's hard to keep them fed and guarded. The best way would be to launch them as refugees. Then we can talk about weaponising refugees, but this is probably best solution of these type of people. Let other countries to worry about them.

............
You really think that these jihadist dipshits have even basic concern for safety or lives of their families?
If they did they wouldn't be forcing them to live in that hell to begin with.
For them women are slightly more than cattle and they hardly bother with remembering kids names because they just procreate until their women give up the ghost and then they just purchase next model and resume procreating.
Any financial loss is made up by selling their daughters into marriage because who gives a shit about daughters, right?
When you kill their families they are not angry because they lost their "loved ones" but because you personally insulted them trough the act of killing their families (AKA property).
You can completely eradicate their families, they will just make new ones and you will end up looking like a dick.

You're advocating the implementation of war crimes by the military of a sovereign nation, member of the UN against civies. I'd tread on careful with such toxic opinions for violence on innocents. To the point where you should refrain and apologize, right here, right now. War is not some sort game and civilians are humans with rights.
Get a grip.
PS. Not sure if this board allows this genocidal cr@p.

Re: Syrian War: News #14
Another good article, this time from a British reporter at the front. Journalism is starting up again. These are the first couple of paragraphs, good stuff.
After a sweeping Syrian military advance to the edge of the besieged Isis ‘capital’ of Raqqa, the Russians, the Syrian Army and Kurds of the YPG militia – theoretically allied to the US – have set up a secret ‘coordination’ centre in the desert of eastern Syria to prevent “mistakes” between the Russian-backed and American-supported forces now facing each other across the Euphrates river. The proof could be found this week in a desert village of mud-walled huts and stifling heat – it was 48 degrees – where I sat on the floor of an ill-painted villa with a Russian air force colonel in camouflage uniform, a young officer of the Kurdish militia – with a ‘YPG’ (Kurdish People’s Militia) patch on his sleeve – and a group of Syrian officers and local Syrian tribal militiamen.
Their presence showed clearly that despite belligerent Western – especially American – claims that Syrian forces are interfering with the ‘Allied’ campaign against Isis, both sides are in reality going to enormous lengths to avoid confrontation. Russian Colonel Yevgeni, thin and close-shaven with a dark moustache, smiled politely but refused to talk to me – The Independent being the first western news media to visit the tiny village near Resafeh – but his young Kurdish opposite number, who asked me not to disclose his name, insisted that “all of us are fighting in one campaign against ‘Dae’esh’ (Isis), and that is why we have this centre – and to avoid mistakes.” Colonel Yevgeni nodded approvingly at this description but maintained his silence – a wise man, I thought – for he must be the easternmost Russian officer in Syria, only a few miles from the Euphrates river.

Well Jesus tapdancing Christ on a pushbike!!11!
BREAKING! #Syria ★ SAA take control of #T2 Station near Syria/Iraq border & move directly to Abu-Kemal town
This is big news guys. It will force IS to spread their forces and anticipate attacks in Salamiyah countryside, along the Euphrates on the north, Sukhna in the center of the front and now Abu Kamal in the south. At the same time they need to deal with Deir Ezzor and keep a token force vs the SDF across the river in Hasaka.
I think this will be the breaking point of IS, at least I hope.

Elite Syrian Army unit prepares for 2nd phase of east Damascus offensive
Soldiers from the 42nd Brigade of the 4th Mechanized Division
BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:55 P.M.) – The elite 42nd Brigade of the 4th Mechanized Division is preparing to launch the second phase of the government’s east Damascus offensive, a source told Al-Masdar this afternoon.
The 42nd Brigade, also known as the Ghiath Forces, were initially set to deploy to the nearby Jobar front; however, after discussions with the army’s high command, their unit was sent to the ‘Ayn Tarma triangle.
According to a military source, the Syrian Army is set to launch another powerful attack in the ‘Ayn Tarma Triangle in the coming days, as they allow their air force to weaken the defenses of Faylaq Al-Rahman before they conduct their assault.
Video footage of the Syrian Air Force (SyAAF) carrying out airstrikes in eastern Damascus was released by opposition media on Monday:
The main objective of the Syrian Army’s second phase will be to cutoff the highway that is used by the rebels to transport supplies between nearby suburbs

There must be a good chance that, as part of the CIA withdrawal, the Pentagon ties were cut for them as this seemed to be a FSA training support mission not anti ISIS.SeigSoloyvov wrote:Tisk tisk poor poor FSA they "cut ties" with us near Tan-if we were the only thing keeping you guys alive, what a silly silly move.

SAA Has seized much land from ISIS near the border, they have reached Al bi Jat and are within striking distance of the last major border crossing that is Al-Qaim.
I however would not expect them to attack that area anytime soon has ISIS will fight tooth and nail for it and most of SAA is currently focused on Sukan.

Hopefully the SAA will just get within comfortable artillery range and then sit there making a nuisance of themselves plus being a potential threat that ties up ISIS operatives or even forces reinforcement.SeigSoloyvov wrote:SAA Has seized much land from ISIS near the border, they have reached Al bi Jat and are within striking distance of the last major border crossing that is Al-Qaim.
