What is funny tough, "live stream" from Cyrpus airfield bombers taking off. but all you see is the afterburners....

i stick my hand in the fire those aircraft are not even fully armed. Just yesterday i heard they could not get the combat load required for the aircraft.

From what i can see, atm only cruise missiles have been used and are launched from the sea. At least for now no indication airborne platforms have been used.

Al-Dumayr Military Airport under strikes too.

Plus there is ground push by "rebels" in area of Al-Yarmouk camp.

Seems they launched dozens of dummy cruise missiles too, so Syrians wasted many SAMs. Return fire mostly ceased, probably depleted or reloading on many sites.

The problem right now too is, we do not even know if Russia is firing.

In Afghanistan we called it a "black hole", all outside communications are cut off to the world untill the situation is contained and for as long the engagement goes on.

Honestly, i think it is an too high too price to pay if Russia does "nothing".

    What a disaster.

Another lesson for the Russians. At this point it's not a matter of how many lessons they take - since the list is endless. We should just call it for what it's, weakness and incompetence. Don't talk the big game if you can't back it up. The march East will continue. Russians can buckle up in their fortress but there are many ways to take a fortress down, from outside or from within.

    Can't duck forever.

Seems fly path are nowhere near Russian systems coverage and they are not striking anything on the coast itself.

The russians expected the Americans would try to saturate the air defenses of the Syrians with an 200+ cruise missile launch.

And take my word for it, Americans do not have Dummy missiles. they are just rushed products as the factory's can not keep up demand. the JDAM's where notoriously dangerous in Afghanistan because their guidance fins kept jamming as they where rushed in production or indeed they did not went off so forces had to fetch it before Taliban used it as a roadside bomb. the only safe guided bombs to be around when dropped where the Paveway 3 series.

    and yes, Nato weapons suck.....

Tomahawks that were downed or failed here in Serbia/Yugoslavia had double charge. Secondary charge was activated in case main charge failed, so missile gets destroyed, so we basically dont have a single complete wreckage of it.

All of the HQ's where long since ditched.

All the science sites where ditched.

Any airbases can be repaired in days, honestly, we got no targets of military value tonight.

It was a mere muscle flex of virtually pointless targets.

Russia had no need to act here honestly, all the targets hit do not harm Syria's ability to conduct war atm.

I don't know why everyone is freaking out.

All Trump has done is ensure Relations with russia will take decades to recover now.

those in afghanistan did not went off in cases, its first awkward to see an tomahawk or JDAM crash and not go off near your enemy. even worse when you have to attack said enemy before they haul it off and put it in and IED somewhere. where you required the bomb for in the first place because they where so easy to assault.

They'll do it as many times as they wish. There is no promise they can keep in a war of deception - that should be clear. Anyone that believes to the contrary is hugely naive, purposefully, to avoid admitting the obvious in front of their face.
