Ballistic missile impact on Saudi oil production in the east of country. Patriot failed to intercept it.

The Saudis hit Saana, BIG mistake.

Houthi leader Muhammad Al-Bukhaiti from Al-Jazeera: "The bombing of Sanaa today will not go unnoticed, and I assure you now and the whole world is witnessing that we will discipline Saudi Arabia and we will direct them painful blows."

So, the Houtis attacked all over Saudi today, including that one. Reuters also reported that diplomatic missions (embassies and consulates) urged their Saudi citizens to exercise caution after the rocket attacks in Dhahran, Dammam and Al-Khabz. Many got through all the way to the Gulf coast of Saudi.

In daylight as well, so the Patriot trails heading towards the moon can be seen. Anyone relying on Patriots has to be worried now. Bet there are US contractors manning some.

Also giving them real problems with international airlines having to divert, spreading the word around the world of aviation. Shame Laughing

They seem to be aiming for Saudi's strategic oil assets on top of their normal airfield targets. This is on the Persian Gulf tonight.

The port of Ras al-Tanura was targeted with a Zulfiqar missile and 10 UAVs. In this operation, 22 drones and ballistic missiles targeted the positions of the Saudi regime.

A mistake in my previous post. It seems they targeted an airforce air base.

Saudis threaten with punishment and imprisonment in case of publishing any videos or recording a bomb attack on the Kingdom of the Kingdom

Saudi security and electronic intelligence of the Saudi intelligence service monitor and delete all videos documenting the bombing of Saudi cities on the website

Sources inside the Kingdom: The Saudi army indiscriminately fired Patriot rockets in several Saudi cities, and most of them fell towards residential areas after failing to intercept any targets

What is believed to be a single Qiam, fell in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia, amid the failure of the THAAD system and the Patriot 2 and 3 systems to block the missiles.

Video of saudi f-15 intercepting houti drones. IMO it's not all from today but from the past and they shared it because video appeared of BM hitting their cities.

    Probably propaganda operation.

However it shows drones are not immune and that much stealthy. Bad point for Saudi is that they use a million dollar missiles to destroy them.

Definitely from today, saw it a couple of weeks ago.

A reminder of those pilots chasing German V-1s over southern England in WW2.

It’s interesting, it would appear that some of the Iranian missiles aren’t the crap some have suggested. Between this and the strike against US forces, they do appear to be quite accurate. The other story is that perhaps the patriot system is not what it’s made out to be or is it more end user fault here?

I remember in the 1990s when the Russians started to reveal information about their air defence missile systems like BUK and TOR and S-300P and S-300V, that even included them launching scud like missiles and intercepting them with their bigger missiles.

At the time the military magazines that reported the tests talked about the millions of dollars each "test" was wasting in terms of missiles being fired, but as I thought at the time it is really the only way to prove they work. Western companies have never shown such things at middle eastern defence expos, yet they bought these western air defence systems.

Now perhaps they can see their worth... and are probably remembering how cheap the Russian systems were.

During such tests they usually use missiles that need to be replaced anyway.

Missiles have an expire date like any other object.

S-300 missiles seems to be cheap too. Just look at all the videos of live launches. They use them a lot and it doesn't seem to bother them.

On the opposite live fire of european missiles are very rare.

If this doesn't bring the Saudis to the negotiating table then nothing will.

This is the Houtis with a boot, sorry flipflop, on the commercial neck of SA.

This is the message 'You destroy our oil operation centered on Marib and we will destroy yours. You have further to fall back to tribal living than we do. Feeling lucky?'

Expect a deal on Marib in days. This will cost the unrealistic and arrogant Saudis dear.

Saudi Arabia asked Turkey for support in its war on Yemen, so Turkey agreed ... and the Turkish presence would be logistical and military support, training and providing Turkish "marches" to deter the "Houthi militia" ...

But it won't be plain sailing

Don't underestimate them. They have been very well trained since they have the money and they operate them for a long time.

Three commercial airliners ETA Jeddah in 15-25 minutes are now in holding patterns.

Looks like the Houtis may have struck again.

The SaudiAF certainly hit Saana hard today. Also Turkish SAMs are on the way to defend Saudi infrastructure.

Made in enormous numbers.... they will likely have 50,000 or more made by the time they switched to other types... they made over 100,000 SA-1 missiles which they used as test targets for air defence sites...
