It seems US and western navy can't take down any Houthi ASBM there .

A military source close to the movement told RIAN about this.
According to him, Yemen intends to begin manufacturing such missiles for attacks in the Red, Arabian Seas and the Gulf of Aden, as well as against targets in Israel.

They have already done that and used in surface to surface mode multiple times.
And it's sea based version was able to hit ships, in the radar horizon distance.
And S-125 as well.
If a bunch of folks wearing flip flops would have managed to get and use real hypersonic missiles against Murican - this would have been just hilarious

With several skip-trajectory maneuvers, KS remains in the hypersonic regime for a good portion of its terminal phase & remains maneuverable

"We’ll not only prevent Israeli ships from sailing in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, but also in the Indian Ocean and South Africa, towards the Cape of Good Hope. This is an important and significant step, and we have already begun operations related to this."

The leader of the Ansarullah movement has announced that they will now target ships with Israeli connections crossing the Indian Ocean towards South Africa
This will probably happen after Ramadan
The US needs to send more ships to West Asia if it wants to protect such a large area.

So if the range reaches 1500 + km, that would mean the warhead speed in a range of 4km/s.

Re: Yemeni Conflict: News #3
Killing innocent civilians ( we are only the authorized to do that No ).
And if they were running drugs into the US they would not be called innocent civilians, they would be called drug couriers.
In this case these are ships violating the waters the Houthies legitimately patrol delivering support and likely weapons and ammo to a country committing war crimes.
The real example of not judging a book by its cover
To be fair standing on a stage is supposed to elevate you up so you can be seen properly. The size of the stand he is behind probably justifies more "stand".
Houthis have told China and Russia their ships can sail through the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden without being attacked,
They wont be delivering material to support a terrorist state so that is consistent.

Bloomberg: The Russian fleet has entered the Red Sea, crowded with warships. The detachment included the missile cruiser "Varyag" and the frigate "Marshal Shaposhnikov".
Also
The first Russian warship has arrived at the Eritrean port of Massawa
As Russian Ambassador to Eritrea Igor Mozgo said, the ship will remain in the country until April 5. Joint exercises are expected to be held between sailors of the two states and experience will be exchanged.
Intensified contacts between Russia and Eritrea began last year.Thus, in January 2023, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov visited Eritrea for the first time, and in May, Eritrea's president Isaias Afwerke arrived in Moscow to meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin

Man those Houthis are something else. No matter what side you're on, you can't say anything but admire their courage and cause. Really, between them and Iran obviously, they're the only ones answering the zionist entity's crimes against the Palestinian people. No one else is willing to do half of what they're doing and they don't give two f***s about the consequences.
And they're issuing even more ultimatums regarding the zionists plans to enter Rafah any day now.

"Holy shish kabob" lol. Not only did they make a music video and have a wedding on the ship, they also made a video of how they were joking around with the crew and being hospitable (ala Yemeni style hahaha) by offering them QAT LOL! They showed one of Houthis handing the captain a bunch of leaves to chew (and you know they're all high on that crap lmaaoo). The captain is taking the qat and laughing with them. If I find the video I'll post it, hilarious.

GEROMAN -- time will tell - --
@GeromanAT
US lead operation against the blockade of the Red Sea failed epically:
(and those clowns want to take on Russia and China)
The Houthis received a proposal from the US administration yesterday to mutually end the “sanctions.”
The Houthis were asked to stop hooliganism in exchange for the removal of blockades and sanctions from their ports and other “goodies.”
The Houthi action has brought logistics to a virtual standstill in the Red Sea and gulfs.
Ibrahim
@Ibreft2
Ansarallah will reject. They have said many times that they will stop when the war on Gaza stops. And if “israel” proceeds with their plans to invade Rafah, Ansarallah will then strike ships in the Mediterranean Sea as well.

The Sirius Report
@thesiriusreport
USS Eisenhower:
The one way not to demonstrate that you were not hit by Houthi missiles is to show images from 3 months ago.
Captain, the people demand answers. Why post an old USS Eisenhower video right after Yemen's precise hit announcement? And why head to Jeddah in Saudi post-attack? The truth must come out.
Riddler
@JayRidd79471728
Possibly, it had quite minor damage or an extremely close call that caused the captain to suddenly realize the ship might be a ton more vulnerable to attack than they expected. Even if the chances of major damage to the ship was say only 1 in 10, that is likely way too much risk

The Houthis now possess an advanced Iranian missile The armed forces of Yemen in a recently published video show that they received the Iranian ballistic missile "Kheybar Shekan-2" and that they used it for the first time against Israel. The Khyber Shekan-2 is an advanced medium-range ballistic missile developed by Iran, with the specific purpose of penetrating an extremely dense air defense umbrella, such as Israel's Iron Dome / Arrow-3 / David's Slingshot . It is an upgraded version of the original "Kheybar Shekan" missile, which was recently used in a massive Iranian attack on Israel, which successfully hit two Israeli airbases.
