Furthermore Russia could then sell new spare parts also to countries which are subject to US illegal sanctions.

Also many of the same suppliers for Boeing and Airbus also provide parts used in the Chinese ARJ21 and C919.

Eventually the same company (BEMZ) can get licences to produce also the new Russian parts on MC-21-310 and SJ-100, to improve part availability and ease the work of the OEM.

Russian service companies should check all the parts they receive from abroad for explosives embedded in them too.
You can't put anything past the West these days.

Mishustin spoke about the active development of the air transportation sector in Russia, 10.09.2024.

Mishustin: Air travel in Russia is growing above expectations.

MOSCOW, 9 Oct — RIA Novosti. Air travel in Russia is growing above expectations, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting with Aeroflot CEO Sergei Aleksandrovsky.

"In general, air transportation in the country is growing seriously, and even above expectations. International routes are being actively restored. But of course, the main factor and the most important priority for us is the development of domestic transportation," he said.

At the same time, the head of government called for not slowing down the pace, increasing the number of flights in the country and creating as many convenient routes as possible without transit transfers.

“When people fly from one part of the Far East or Siberia via Moscow to another part, this is, of course, wrong,” Mishustin added.

He noted that more modern airports need to be built in the regions, and recalled that, according to the president’s instructions, 75 new air terminals should appear by 2030.

“Each will be based on the most advanced domestic technological solutions, including information systems and services,” the prime minister said.

As reported by Rosaviatsia , in January-July, the passenger traffic of Russian airlines exceeded 63 million people, increasing by almost seven percent. And by the end of the year, it is expected to be 112 million passengers, and the growth will be six percent higher than in 2023.

    Excellent news about the Mi-34.
Russia was missing the small engines until now, but had a lot of potenziali interesting light aircraft and helicopter design.

I wonder about the specification and load capabilities, since the vK-650 has almost twice the power as the original radial piston engine used in the first version of this helicopter.

The VK-650V has twice the power, weighs half as much, uses less fuel in takeoff mode, and only slightly more, like 10% more, in cruise. Maybe. Not 100% sure on that final one. Turbines are typically most fuel efficient at full blast, unlike piston engines.

    https://rumotor.org/engines/vk-650v/

    VK-650V
Engine power in emergency mode: 750 hp
Engine power at takeoff: 650 hp
    Weight: 105 kg
    Specific fuel consumption: 0.245 kg/hp h

    Vedeneyev M14P
Engine power at takeoff: 360 hp
    Weight: 214 kg
    Specific fuel consumption: 0.285-0.315 kg/hp h (99% power)
    Specific fuel consumption: 0.210-0.230 kg/hp h (64% power)
