A lot of Egyptians (at least politicians) are running around, telling everybody that they are an ancient civilization and a great power... but taking

My take and summary :


Basically Hezbollah is doing enough for now , drawing Israeli fire in the North , and is ready to escalate , according to events in Gaza . Hezbollah wants an end to bombings and survival of Hamas , and sees this outcome as a victory , and will stand with Gaza to this end . Hezbollah does not want a full scale war against Israel , or the USA , but ready to retaliate . Hezbollah asks other Arab states for greater role , in at least providing humanitarian aid to Gaza . All options are open ! All this is basically a proportional and graduated ultimatum , short of ( hopefully ) going to full scale war , but that option is not ruled out .

Actually the foreigners were part of the plan to negotiate with the US to send the humanitarian aid to Gaza which is ongoing already now .

Regarding the military move by Egypt it's not a matter of using force , Israel without the west is easy to be drained from it's resources .

it's a matter of renewing the hardware losses and facing a high scale economic sanctions .

See the west will introduce a huge arms and economic power to Israel which will enhance their economic and military capabilities on a long term during any conflict with Egypt . Ukraine had no chance to resume fighting till now without the west support but Russia is unlike Egypt ,it has a huge military industry and resources and nuclear capabilities to face the west .

Egypt on the other side can't guarantee the same full support from specific global superpowers .

With such risky scenario , Egypt will only go for war if Israel hit first , i can't blame them but it doesn't mean I'm satisfied with the current situation.
