Not really foreigners in Russia though
Just chicken Russians who wan away in 2022 with the start of the SMO returning back.
Well good to know almost half of them did. They can be useful. Just, not to be trusted, that's all.
Yeah, Bloomberg trying to pretend that it was the bestest and the brightest that ran away when the SMO started and now they are coming back of course Russia will benefit commercially.
Note only about 10% of foreign companies voluntarily left the Russian market and most with sales agreements to allow them to return in 10 years or so if the whole thing blows over.
In comparison most of these people that left were not very nice about Russia or Putin because they thought they were never coming back... they were going to paradise in the west...
But then the Spring floods hit the Orenburg region, he and his family had to evacuate, and then came back to a ruined home where the water had basically go to only 10 or so inches from the roof of
A public service announcement from New Zealand... a year or so back we had serious flooding in an area in New Zealand and for some reason a lot of people didn't leave their houses... they took shelter in the roof of their houses.
This was a fatal mistake for many because when the waters continued to rise and filled the roof cavity to escape they would need to dive underwater that was muddy and they couldn't see through to get to the man hole they used to get into the roof and then make their way down into the room and to the nearest exit to get out of the house... all under water and all largely blind.
They mostly drowned.
In a flood, don't think the inside of your roof is safe, the water might end up being many metres above your roof and the roof will let air escape and fill up with water... it is designed to be waterproof for water falling down, not from water rising up from below.
If you are flooded sitting on top of your roof makes you visible for rescue services, but if the water keeps rising don't think it is safe to stay either.
Empty water bottles are good to keep you floating in water...
