Nice pics... thanks for posting.
I particularly like some of the older missiles like SA-2 and SA-3.
With upgrades they cans still be very useful... they made so many!

Re: Egyptian Ground Forces
Lack of certainty in government would mean that sales of the latest Russian weapons are not likely in the near term... it doesn't make much sense to sell then the new stuff and have it appear in the US as an opposing forces training system.
Then of course there is the problem with not selling your best stuff and trying to compete with western firms who might be prepared to sell anything to get a contract.
I would expect the large amount of existing Soviet and Russian material in Egyptian service will need support and upgrades and newer purchases will also be looked upon favourably, but I don't see PAK FA fighters in Egyptian colours taking on Israeli F-35s any time soon.
Look at the Orange revolution in the Ukraine... it was successful for a few years, but after a while when things don't suddenly dramatically improve the people start to wonder whether they did the right thing and if the new lot are actually any different from the old lot...

Ι think muslim brotherhood would stay in power for a lot of years, and yes i agree its impossible to see pak-fa in egypt colours but we can see Su-30/35 since USA under the pressure of israel has denied to sell F-15E

Re: Egyptian Ground Forces
Egypt is not that small country that handle russian weapons to U.S hands , the army is seperated from the presidency of the country ,russians know that well ,we took the Tor-m more than 5 years ago.

Re: Egyptian Ground Forces
Looks to me like an IFF too.
Most IFFs have always 3 seperated antennas close to each other i think for better filtration.

Re: Egyptian Ground Forces
Not sure about the bits sticking up on top, but the three vertical fins above the radar is likely IFF.
On Soviet and Russian vehicles they had two vertical fins down the face of the radar dish for IFF...
