It is best Libya bleeds Turkey dry. The sooner Erdogan the modern day Hitler dies the better it is for Russia.

Re: Libyan Crisis
It seems turkey deployed AD Hawk on the libyan airport , that's will not change anything .
Actually it's a stupid move , LNA is about 10 km from the airport which means they can use only some rocket launchers or artillery to destory the Hawk .

Non officially they did
Greece already captured some ships that were taking arms to libya and sent by turkey , i guess also Greece is supplying LNA with some ammunations and spare parts , but if they announce this officially it will take the conflict to another level .

Re: Libyan Crisis
http://www.ekathimerini.com/248486/article/ekathimerini/news/greek-patriots-to-be-deployed-in-saudi-arabia
Greece will bring Patriot air defense units to Saudi Arabia. There are already enough US and Saudi Patriots in KSA, so Greek Patriots will not change much there. This favour to KSA means money donations for Greek army. Greece made aliance with fieldmarshal Haftar and they said they will send Greek army to Lybia to control any cease fire agreement as opposition to Turkey. Bankrupt Greece goes into confrontation with Turkey and they need money donator and they find donator in KSA and UAE. Turkeys also need money donator for military interventions and they find it in Qatar.
Athens and Riyadh have reportedly agreed on the deployment of Patriot anti-aircraft missiles of the Hellenic Air Force in Saudi Arabia.
Technical details relating to the transportation of the missiles, their deployment, cost and operational responsibility remain to be ironed out for the agreement’s conclusion.
According to sources, the deal follows the agreement of the foreign ministries of Greece and Saudi Arabia a few weeks ago to boost the latter’s air defense in light of the recent strikes against the facilities of the state-owned Aramco oil company.

Re: Libyan Crisis
If I was Russia, I keep well out of Libya. And force others to keep out too. Even if others don't keep out. It is absolutely not clear, what forces there are on the ground. Their true affiliations and political direction. It is simply chaos. And adding to it will not benefit any participants, since all these forces are antagonistic and destructive to each other. Russia or Turkey, will all loose troops and resources, with no visible gain. Russia can supply both Turkey and Greece with Iranian oil, via own markets, through black sea. So Greece does not fall into sphere of influence of Zionist, with joint expensive exploration of Med oil. And Turkey does not have to panic over it either. Talk to Greece and Turkey and Iran.........
This also forces Turkey and EU to fight Saudi / UAE . Drives Turkey away from NATO. EU then left to fight Saudi and Egypt over oil control. Leave them to it.

My thoughts pretty much
Russia doesn't have serious interests in Libya. Both sides of the war are pretty bad. Haftar doesn't need more military support to win, Russia in fact is fairly late to the game albeit the assistance it has been providing has been pretty influential.
Unlike in Syria, Russia need not oppose Turkey and can let them carry on the process of restoring the Ottoman Empire or whatever the hell it is they're doing, but at least that would have the side-effect of making them an independent country. Of course in the end all these ambitions are with the approval of the USA and can become a problem later on, but whatever, it's of more concern to the Europeans and Arabs than it is to Russia.
Let everyone else duke it out there and then Russia can build relations with whoever the winner of the frenzy is.

Re: Libyan Crisis
The Tribal chiefs turn off the oil. All revenue goes to the GNA in Tripoli regardless off where the oil comes from in the country. Good move by the LNA.

Re: Libyan Crisis
As he should, it's politics. Russia has no reason to be involved in Libya. And he needs to throw a bone to Erdogan in return for ejecting him from Syria for good, where Russia does have interests.

If they play it right, they can have Turks removing their proxies from Syria to Lybia making easier the capture of rebel parts for SAA and they can sell the weapons to Aftar when he takes all Lybia.
But right now they need the situation to not change so that Turks keep sending their proxies and bringing Greece and Tukey to the edge of a war and keep hurting nato.
IMO lybian situation is very interesting for Putin.

Turkey is now drawing new maps. after agreement with GNA in Libya, where they include 17 Greek islands to Rurkey as well as seas around Crete island.
No joke, this is called EGAYDAAK. Almost 2 years ago I wrote about the incoming GNA/TR EEZ agreement and its basis, like the EGAYDAAK, maps included. I wrote analysis also for the IT Navy. In Italian but Google translator will help. http://www.cybernaua.it/photoreportage/reportage.php?idnews=6402 …

Flashback to 2017 when retired Colonel & former Secretary General for #PirateState Turkey's Defense Ministry, Ümit Yalım, said #Greece needs to evacuate 3/4 of the Greek island of #Crete, 14 islands surrounding it, and for Greece to withdraw its military "occupying" Crete.
