First we'll reform the Greek thread with good sources on why Greece was doomed the moment it applied for Common Market.

Cadre School 79-81
University of Tirana 81-84.

AL. Ministry of Economic Affairs 88-92 as member of Import & Trade group till 90.
Directorate of the Transport pool for the Greater Tirana area (SMT). from 90 to 92.

Hell.

Moved to Italy in 1994 after democracy came to "free my brain" through lead. Condemned without trial by Democratic Albania at 10 years for crimes against the people (still haven't seen my letter of arrest and charges 23 years on, but hey Uncle knows best), revised then to five, then "just a small fee". By 2002 the condemnation was lifted.

In 1997 moved from Italy to Belgium. Worked as car salesman, then got a second degree partly through night-courses (Law degree). 2004
Used to work for the EU (til 2011), now I'm "just" a family counselor (adoption cases).
I have a son, and a sticky ex wife.
Life is good.

That's a cool CV. Sorry to hear about the persecution. Politics is pure slime. Only the bootlicks and the sadists are safe.
Anyone with a brain and who does not "conform" is a victim.

Meh, it's all done now. The paradoxal part of it is that people who wanted me in gaol or dead, have been for the most part killed or jailed. Karma (or the joys of Democracy in the jungle).
Unfortunately good people have made the final trip as well. To each his own.
