Algeria was equipped with the ultimate of the anti-aircraft defense, the S400 Triumf, the successor of the S300 PMU2, since March, 2015, according to Russian sources quoting persons in charge of the complex of armament "Almaz-Antej", manufacturer of these new models of AA.
Algeria had commanded two regiments of S400, every regiment contains eight vehicles throwers, with four missiles by thrower, vehicles of recharging and radars.
S-400 Triumph is a system of mobile antiaircraft and antimissile defense, developed by the company Almaz-Antei. His NATO name is Growler. limited company 21 these systems consist of missiles of medium-range air defense which can be spread in a wide scale. Some very capable gear on order for Algeria (especially the mighty S-400), hopefully we'll have images of them soon. Six billion worth of ongoing orders from Russia (not counting the Buk-M2 as apparently the deliveries should FINISH this year?), looks like this is another mega-deal.
