Fallout Thread

Does anyone here play the Fallout series?  If so, please post your pictures, information, and other cool tidbits like mods and what not!  I will post mine.

Have only played Fallout 3 for a short time but gonna get Fallout 4.

I played through Fallout 1 & 2 several times and I tried Fallout: New Vegas (did not like it) and now I gonna try out Fallout 3 These are good games and would be better withour the retrofuturistic aesthetics. I really don't like the 1950s feel to them.

I feel there are too few non-fantasy RPGs - pretty much only Fallout and Mass Effect. It makes more sense to make an RPG about the war in Ukraine than another one about elves and orcs. Who is for?

People complaining on 4chan and reddit about graphics and how Stalker Clear Sky had better textures.

Remind you, I believe these screens are form the Xbox one or PS4 systems.

Actually it's the 11th for all of us guys in the Southern Hemisphere, because y'know, we couldn't have it first, that would be terrible.
Hmmmm that wouldn't be such a bad tourism ploy for Southern Hemisphere countries if we could covince publishers to release here first...

Couldn't care less to be honest... the gameplay looks very solid. If us PC boys hate the look we'll just mod the hell out of it.

I'm a huge fan of the series, but I'm gonna wait until I buy a new computer before getting it.

slightly offtop: Seph, IIRC you're quite knowledgeable when it comes to processors, so in your opinion, should I get a skylake processor and build around it?

I would say yes so long as you have the funds.  In most videogames
The GPU still matters the most. But a good processor will last long.  Intel is currently at top in raw performance. But are pricy.

I have Fallout 3,Fallout new vegas and Fallout 4...I also have many many mods for some reason I have tend to download to many AK mods so my weapon selection consists AKs AKs and more AKs.

Some of my favorite games lots of freedom and highly modable so you can install glorious communist mods to take away said freedom.

I have played all the main ones, i.e Fallout 1, 2, 3, New Vegas, and 4 (finished all except 4 multiple times).

Couldn't get into 4 as much as 3 or New Vegas for some reason and stopped mid way through, maybe I will give it another go at some point.

Personally my favorite was New Vegas with 3 following closely behind.
