Difficult question. Who tried to assasinate him last year? nobody knows. Why was he arrested with a group of others in Donetsk in early January this year? nobody knows. Nobody knows about Ishchenko, Bednov, Mozgovoi or exactly why Purgin was purged. Nobody knows anything and those who should know something say nothing. The people are not stupid, but the people have no power and do not control the news, or even the non news of what we are not meant to know. Cynical perhaps, but while there are unexplained deaths....

Many of Donbass fighters have been killed by insiders despite being pro-Russian.

TASS: World - Donetsk republic may postpone weaponry withdrawal due to repeated shellings
    http://tass.ru/en/world/833761

    this evening reports

Ukie tanks in Mayorsk hitting NAF positions in Zaitsevo, northern suburbs of Gorlovka

Near Avdeevka mass ukie tanks reported , near Marinka ukies are moving heavy caliber artillery in position

Someone pointed out that the Ukrops have a penchant for attacking on Soviet festivities, thinking they may achieve some degree of surprise, so next likely date for an attack is on 7 November, anniversary of the October Revolution

    From Novorussia Today

The situation in DPR still remains complicated and tense. The Ukrainian military have violated the ceasefire 14 times over the past 24 hours. The settlement of Spartak was shelled from 82 and 120mm mortars from the positions of the so-called “volunteer battalions» deployed in the settlement of Avdeevka. Besides, the «Volvo-centre» area in Donetsk was shelled from small-arms and AGLs from the settlement of Peski.

DPR intelligence keeps recording a concentration of Ukrainian servicemen at the demarcation line. The arrival of up to 100 people of the personnel of the battalion Aydar with heavy weapons and vehicles was observed in the settlement of Rozovka.

The frequency of shellings by the Kiev forces suggests that the Ukrainian authorities have withdrawn from meeting the Minsk Agreements and do not control the actions of the Ukrainian military anymore. Besides, the facts mentioned above clearly indicate a desire to disrupt the withdrawal of mortars scheduled for the near future.

    EDIT:

Ukranian forces have been given the order to attack under the pretext of returning fire.

ATO PRESS CENTER: UA commanders on the ground were authorized to open fire in response

Heavy fights in Donetsk, and now also in the outskirts of Mariupol

Begging bowl out in Kiev again. My highlight

Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has asked the European Commission to help with forming the payroll fund for government employees in Ukraine.

"The reformation of the system of payment for work and the help of our European partners, which I have already requested from the European commission, is to form the fund for an increase in government employees' salaries. This is being done so that we've got real professionals, those who are aware of what they are doing and those who are able to carry out respective reforms in the system," Yatseniuk said at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday.

Corruption won't be rooted out if salaries haven't been doubled, he said.

"We should frankly acknowledge that if we don't increase salaries in the public sector, in the State Fiscal Service, we won't be able to eliminate corruption. And we won't be able to hire professionals, as they would prefer the private sector then if there is no motivation to work in government agencies," Yatseniuk said.

Just found this, its a pro Kiev site but the satellite photos in this thread are well worth the look. Lots and lots of trucks!

Certainly makes a total mockery of the claims by Kiev of thousands of Russian troops, but no photos, last year. These are commercial not HD military too.

But it doesnt prove that those are Russians.  Just pictures of locations with pictures of the facilities with people holding guns and outdated gear.  So in other words, Novorussians.  Still doesnt back up the claim of "Russian invasion".

Certainly doesn't show much apart from lots of trucks. My interest was in the shear numbers of them and the quality of the pictures.

Kyiv just want money. They are out of money very fast and they have to make some reasons to ask for more fund. Even the most ridiculous one.

Actually terrible level of corruption may be one of the reason for the thirst for fund...

Did something happen yesterday? Or it was a quiet day? Total news blackout.

There are reports this morning of shelling of Petrovsky District in Donetsk, seems is not mortars anymore, but artillery

Ok, found a report of last night shelling

    http://novorossia.today/more-ceasefire-violations-committed-by-the-poroshenko-regime-bombing-of-civilian-areas/

From 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. the Nazi Ukrainian Forces shelled the village of Spartak and the industrial zone of that area. At around 2 a.m. the Nazi Ukrainian military opened fire at the Volvo Center area. The artillery bombardment lasted for several hours. He added that the enemy had used 82-mm and 120-mm mortars, automatic grenade launchers and small arms.

Ukranian nationalist 'planned terror attack on Russian embassy in London'

Court hears how Vadim Bezkorovainiy became 'radicalised' by the tensions in eastern Europe

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/ukranian-nationalist-planned-terror-attack-on-russian-embassy-in-london-a6720091.html

A Ukrainian nationalist planned a terror attack on the Russian embassy in London after becoming “radicalised” by the tensions in eastern Europe, a court heard.

Vadim Bezkorovainiy, 35, is said to have carried out three reconnaissance missions to the embassy from his home in Luton, Bedfordshire, during a three-day period in March 2014 – one of several indications he was plotting violence against the embassy or its ambassador, prosecutors said.

His trial at the Old Bailey heard how the father-of-two had allegedly become radicalised having briefly left the UK to return to Ukraine at a time when political and diplomatic conflict involving Russia and the Ukraine escalated.

It was only when police raided Bezkorovainiy’s home on suspicion of using false identification documents that detectives discovered images and video files suggesting he was plotting a terror attack.

Handwritten notes were also recovered, which prosecutors said were a rough draft of a press release or speech to be issued after the attack. He denies engaging in conduct in preparation for giving effect to an intention to commit acts of terrorism.

Robin Sellars, for the prosecution, said: “This case involves what the Crown say  was a deliberate and definitive course of action by this defendant in preparation of an act or acts of terrorism.

“You will hear that he carried out protracted research on the internet into the manufacture of detonators and explosives of varying strengths and effectiveness. That was all with a political target in mind – to promote his political motive and ends at the time.”

The court heard that notes recovered from his home in Old Bedford Road on 15 March last year included the phrase: “Being under the constant cover and surveillance by Scotland Yard, the Russian embassy in London did not manage to avoid destruction… Security ended up powerless. Now one [sic] can imagine what will happen to Moscow, St Petersburg, the regional centres, if we redeploy fighters who are simply going to smash everything around them.”

A laptop seized from Bezkorovainiy’s home contained details of internet searches for explosives and flame throwers, while a memory card showed images of the embassy buildings, the court heard.

Mr Sellars said the defendant returned to Ukraine from the UK between September 2012 and January 2013. He told the court: “This is of significance as the Crown alleges that in effect his exposure to the tensions in that region first-hand had the effect of radicalising Mr Bezkorovainiy to the extent that he decided to take matters into his own hands once back in the UK.”

The prosecution said there was further evidence of Bezkorovainiy’s alleged radicalisation in the days before his arrest, when he was overheard talking to his nine-year-old daughter about using guns, setting the neighbour’s garden on fire, and bomb-making.

Mr Sellars said: “The Crown say everything is moving towards one ultimate conclusion – this is someone exhibiting radicalised behaviour.”

The trial, which continues, is being held before His Honour Judge Tim Pontius.

So what's happening? I get the feeling that there were persons in Russia and Eastern Ukraine who wanted a country not controlled by Russia or Putin, and not controlled by Oligarchs, and those ppl, or some of them, have been assassinated and / or removed... correct?

& now there is MINSK, and Ukraine "integrity", i.e. at least by words, but one comment on this article says:

Is it possible that these are part of early moves to eventually re-integrate Donbas with Russia? wrote:

His speech sounds crazy, but if we think about it, it perfectly describes the pathetic situation of current Kyiv goverment. Porkie and his subordinates are just puppets of the West, even if they want to attack Donbass they also need the agreement of the West.

If the West desires peace and dialouge with Russia, then Porkie cannot ignore Minsk, Porkie cannot attack Donbass without the permission of Western masters.

That's it. Kyiv regime is no independent goverment, it is the servant of the West. Servant cannot do much without the masters.
