Sanaa is a UNESCO world heritage site (up there with the likes of the Pyramids of Giza). The total silence of the 'world community' over the destruction by the Saudis is yet another example its moral degeneracy.

It would have been better of China got involved directly in Syrian....but even if not, support in UN and financial aid would be good enough.

We both know on which side of Yemen war China is , they make it perfectly clear - Hadi puppet gov.
Regarding Syria: they are business-like oriented people,so they will not be doing anything that could severe ties with important business partner like SA, that's bad for business and would hurt future contracts.

Hence the mass of Type 85 HMG's, Type 87 GL's and the few HJ-8's in Syria (plus the ammo and small arms). In the mean time they delivered in due time the CH4's to Iraq and have been very helpful against ISIS.

And making coupla additional bucks from this conflict isn't really bad for China.

However as I personally have pointed out, Russia is giving weapons to Houthis. How, in what quantity, in what quality (direct transfers, third party transfers etc) that remains to be seen.
But for the sake of the argument, Russia allowed UNSC Resolution S2216. Read it and see how the fuck Russia isn't "supporting Hadi". The idea is this Russia is not willing to break the UNSC.
