As far as a "SyKRG" model is concerned, most sensible folks should have seen it coming since YPG got matters into their own hands.

Lavrov: it is necessary to interrupt the flow of smuggled weapons and fighters to Syria

    РИА Новости http://ria.ru/syria/20160229/1382119183.html#ixzz41bBXv9iD

ALGIERS, 29 Jan — RIA Novosti. Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika has fully supported Russia on the formation of a broad front in the fight against terrorism, said at a press conference, Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov after talks with Algerian President.

"We discussed the problems of the Middle East and North Africa. The President fully supported the line of Russia on the formation of a broad front to combat terrorism in accordance with the initiative that President Putin put forward at the General Assembly in September last year. Supported by our action to promote the Syrian settlement within an International support group of Syria, which operates under the co-chairmanship of the Russian Federation and the USA", — said Lavrov.

In his words, "our common position is that the decision support group of Syria, which were approved by the UN security Council must be fully implemented without any preconditions and with the understanding that to effectively suppress the activity of the IG and "Jabhat EN-Nusra" (both banned in Russia), and the like it is necessary to stop the flow of smuggled weapons and fighters to Syria and Iraq," he said.

fun fact for anybody that has not noticed yet, in case Ottoman-empire wannabe Erdoclown ends up shooting at the Russians. NATO will just leave Turkey be on the receiving end of the Russians.

a couple of behind the scenes remarks and facts so far.

after Turkey shot down that SU-24 even some of the hardliner NATO commanders in Brussels openly said in the Turkey-summoned meeting if they went insane shooting at the russians. that not even at the height of the cold war both NATO and Russian warplanes would never shoot at eachother for the potential consequences it might have. also, and appearantly Greece and Germany where the most vocal about it that NATO did not serve to go hide behind when you go start a war on your own.... just you know...unless NATO itself figured it could start one against an inferior enemy. either way, they made clear the Article 5 defense has to be agreed on unanimously and under the circumstances they would get no support.

and i mean?...seriously?. in what world of Reality would the Greek military go at Russia's throat?. to defend the Turks that shoot Russians in the back?.   dunno

while Merkel and Brussels still try to kiss Turkey's ass over the migrant crisis. EU NATO forces behind the scenes realise Turkey is actively looking to drag NATO into the conflict to carry the brunt of the dirty work. so, to Turkey's "dissapointment" european Patriot systems where still withdrawn out of turkey. honestly NATO is an empty shell either way but if i 'd had to sum up example's of that i have to write a page full of examples of that.
the most important reason NATO/U.S is not talking harshly against Turkey is because of the strategic importance and NATO bases Turkey has. and most likely some Skeletons in NATO's Closet in Turkey they do not want an irrational Erdogan spew out to the world. one skeleton being advanced nerve-gas agents where transported by NATO trough Turkish air bases on their way to Afghanistan during the OEF campaign. or the special U.S rendition flights that made a stop there into one of the torture camps run on Turkey's air bases. or how NATO assisted in intelligence against the PKK while that subject is "touchy" in Europe.

So no, Turkey is on its own. and thats propably the only reason Erdy has not committed to a full assault yet while Turkish forces are ready to do so for about 3 weeks already. NATO's "rapid response force" A.K.A "Paper Tiger" is not even being given stand-by orders, nobody knows of any preparations. i talked to guys in France, Germany, Spain and the Czech Republic for weeks. its just quiet, business as usual for NATO forces and nothing is happening for Turkey-wise. just the usual logistical routes going to places like Latvia and Poland, and NATO's standard exercise grounds and thats it.

The U.S. is not discussing with allies the possibility of a ground operation in Syria

    РИА Новости http://ria.ru/syria_chronicle/20160301/1382210547.html#ixzz41bE6Vjky

WASHINGTON, Mar 1 – RIA Novosti, Grigory Dubovitskii. The coalition led by the USA against the group "Islamic state" (banned in Russia and several countries) did not discuss the possibility of a ground operation in Syria, Washington's approach to this issue remains unchanged, said RIA Novosti the representative of the state Department.
Earlier on Monday, the Agency Reuters with reference to the Advisor to the head of the Ministry of defense of Saudi Arabia General Ahmad Asiri said that the coalition discussed the possibility of a ground operation in Syria two weeks ago in Brussels, but no decision was taken.
"These reports are groundless. From the outset, we made clear that our efforts are to support local forces in Iraq and Syria who are fighting ISIS. No change in our approach is not" — said the representative office.

The NATO position over the SU-24 shootdown is a little muddy. There were reports of 2 NATO AWACS planes in the air at the time, one to the west and one to the northeast, perfectly placed to give guidance to the Turkish fighter, coupled with immediate blaming of Russia from the US.

The US has transferred 5000 tons of ammunition to storage at Missau in Germany.

    https://syrianfreepress.wordpress.com/2016/02/29/us-weaponry/

When this is coupled with the recent dumping loads of desert camo tanks into Norway (ideal tanker country, dontchaknow!), it seems they are trying to dampen things down in Turkey where it could get really dangerous really quickly, and are playing games in Europe to ramp up the 'Russian aggression' BS. It seems NATO does not know what to do to solve what ever problem it has in its collective braincell.

The story of 20 drunken US soldiers rioting in Lithuanian perhaps sums up NATO as a fighting force.

They won't dare to set foot in Syria land as long as Russian air force is still monitoring the circumstance.

After all, Russian intervention is not only to defeat IS, but also to defeat the masterminds behind IS.

An RT report by Lizzie Phelan from the old city part of Aleppo, looking at the effects of the ceasefire. It includes an interview with a female Syrian fighter defending Syria from the takfiris.

BTW where do you think the 'Birdhouse' PPS originated from? There's some speculation and debate, like either Russia developed a low-cost PPS for the SAA, or it's a indigenous design, or Iranian designed, etc., etc...
