Hello everyone,
I extend my greetings to all members on this forum who are interested in Russian defense and security. My intention of joining this forum was partly due to the need to discuss important geopolitical trends which have recently been taking place and to discuss how they effect Russian national interests and security.
Very briefly,
As you're aware, as of November, 2013, there has been an aggressive, intensifying propaganda campaign directed towards Russia from a number of leading UK/American media outlets. You only have to take a look at "The Guardian's" online Russian news feed to realize the extent and severity, and ultimately, bizarreness of this anti-Russian propaganda.
A number of leading UK media outlets have, from what it seems, effectively resorted to propaganda themes reminiscent of the UK at the time of the Crimean War (1853). News published on these outlets aim to depict Russia as an aggressor and that there exists a state of lawlessness, chaos and instability in the country. Not to mention all the propaganda directed towards the Russian President.
In other recent events, I also believe that that the oil-price-war directed towards Russia, principally by the collaboration of Western and SA elite, was engineered with the intention of lifting Iranian sanctions from the get go, so that should OPEC and Non-Opec members ever try to agree on an oil production cut, Russia and Iran would have the potential to be in conflicting positions, as for Iran to cut oil production would mean that it couldn't benefit entirely from sanction relief. I'm sure some were staggered at the speed at which America removed Iranian sanctions and there was reasoning behind this.
There clearly is a power play underway by the NATO-aligned elite.
Anyway,
Regarding me as an individual, I should mention that I'm not Russian, although I am of European decent (Dutch Blood).
Well as a newcomer I realize that I am a nobody on this forum so I hope I can get to know a few people.
