But is Aleppo a complete victory indeed or are we celebrating too soon? From what I've read the SAA still has to flush Terrorist excrements mixing with civilians in its neighborhoods and the US along with its lapdogs in the UN are doing everything they could to sabotage Russian and Syrian plans for a safe corridor to evacuate civilians in the area.
Nothing to celebrate yet, these are just the first actions in what is going to be a very nasty fight. Supply routes may have been severed but they have had a very long time to stockpile everything they need, probably underground. Fighting positions and tunnels, both defensive and offensive, will have been prepared. Those fighting know it will be to the death and they will be determined to take as many of the enemy with them as they can.

There will be a lot of buildings being reduced to rubble. Combat engineers will be key to the success.

Apparently up to 270,000 civilians and 10,000 militants are trapped in Aleppo. Militants not allowing many to leave.

right now it seems the terrorists inside Aleppo city will be the least of their worries.

Hundreds of Islamist rebels leave Latakia frontline for new Aleppo offensive

    https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/hundreds-islamist-rebels-leave-latakia-frontline-new-aleppo-offensive/

Even though this leaves less terrorists on the Latakia front, the Latakia front is still a tough battle because of the terrain and most of SAA SyAF and RuAF are concentrating on Aleppo and with a planned major assault on western and southern Aleppo their focus will be on these areas so not much support for the SAA on Latakia front but its still an advantage for them and now is the time to recapture Kinsibba. We might even find the the Aleppo supply road being targeted and again like in the past a joint effort from FSA and ISIS at Khanasser. The SAA and Russia need to react ASAP.

Complete and utter BS. There is probably ~30,000 civilians left in the terrorist-infested ruins of Aleppo. The 270,000 is a fucking joke.

BTW they are not "militants". They are fucking TERRORISTS so bloody well call them what they are!! angry

Day is young, they need to leave east Aleppo to marinate for at least couple of months and gradually depopulate trough corridors.

SAA and VKS can deal with that group moving from Latakia in the meantime.

I would not worry about Hillary, I have said this before, if Hillary is elected(and she will be elected because that is who the Zionists want), it would be the best thing for Russia. Hillary wants to show that she has a bigger penis than Bill and George, so she will take the US into a lot of wars, if planned and executed well, this bitch can fall into a trap and this bitch can be trapped in a war(s) that will drain the US economy. I am pretty sure that Russia, China and Iran know this and they hopefully have plans to trap this bitch into multiple wars.

Supposedly there are "vetted" terrorists groups in Aleppo, hence the ongoing pressure from Russia towards to US to separate the "good" terrorists from Al Nusra in the province. Finding directly supplied US weapons is not surprising. Any idea what terrorist group they came from?

By 2014, the US government would have been well aware of the allegiance and general proximity of these terrorist factions to Al Qaeda, hence it could be argued that under the Obama Administration, the US government has directly and consciously armed Al Qaeda.

The four strike cluster is in Kafr Hamra and the surrounding settlements, as mention is the SF article. During the assault on Bani Zeid, the terrorists withdrew to this area.

Actually the calibration dates are from 2015, when most of the Aleppo City would in a way or another be under JaN "scrutiny".

ANNA reporters went through and documented all the labels. There's placards on the capture weapons from December 15, 2015. I wonder if these weapons came from Division 13, given that I think it was in march that Al Nusra overran them.

Not sure if I read it right, but it's in effect, not just proposed. The actual agreement signed back in august 2015 by Damascus and Moscow does not have an expiration clause. So the Russian forces can remain indefinitely.

Lots of American and NATO lethal and illegal weapons, captured in Aleppo.. lol1

Civilians liberated claiming they were hostages and prisoners of the Rebels
that NATO have been calling "moderates" in Aleppo.

and American TOW missiles captured.  Very Happy

Russia will be very happy to test them and develop more
efficient counter defenses against them. Cool

They will also be reverse engineered by Syria ,IRAN and Hezbolah
so they will be part of the new package of weapons American troops will
need to face in middle east ,perhaps with enhanced features.

'Terrorists Stand No Chance Against Assad' as Turkey Sides With Russia on Syria

Meanwhile, 169 civilians and 69 rebel fighters who agreed to lay down their weapons have left Aleppo through four safe corridors opened by the Syrian Arab Army as part of a major humanitarian operation launched by Moscow and Damascus.

    http://sputniknews.com/politics/20160731/1043799895/syrian-conflict-turkey.html

previous reports had suggested hundreds of terrorists, but 69 is still a good number and i am sure that more will follow, but these people should still be monitored.

As for Turkies stance i would still be wary of Erdo and his government especially now that he is re-shaping the army which will no doubt be full of pro erdo soldiers and the rest either dismissed or sent to Turkeys east to fight the kurds and possibly die in the process.

    also in the news

Russian and Syrian military are going to establish four more humanitarian corridors in the besieged city of Aleppo, in addition to three existing corridors that already helped hundreds to reach safety

Apparently militants are reinforcing into Aleppo from Idlib and even Latakia to attack Aleppo to reopen a corridor to the East City. Hopefully the Russian and Syrian Air Forces are having a turkey shoot. And to ensure motivation among the militants they are being promised 72 of the sweetest virgins in paradise of which if even the ugliest spit into the ocean, it would turn the water sweet.

Most weapons were Eastern Bloc but distributed through US MOC program.

What is good is the fact that registry numbers are clearly US, no Turkish transfers, no Saudi TOW's, they're purely US.
