Lets see, I too live this way. I had a turkey sandwich all day, and water. It's after 8pm, I might make a PB&J.

Re: Favorite food...?
Deer roast with red wine cabbage, with dumplings and peach with sour cherry sauce, trust me sounds little bit strange but this
sweet sauce matches perfect the deer roast taste.
span piglet
Squid with salted baked potatoes.
Shashlik with vinegar

A quick diversion from corona. Since outbreak of locusts infestation in ME and North Africa. Should we encourage eating these bugs. Some say they are tasty. Any hazards? How best to capture? An air net?

Definitely
Protein is protein and locust are barely any different than shrimp
I am surprised it didn't catch on already
Insects have almost double nutritional value than vertebrates and considering how plentiful they are it's equivalent of free meal forever
I assume large nets should be simple enough but there should definitely be more efficient way of doing it, someone who knows how this is done will come up with superior method if they didn't already
Appearance may take getting used to for some people but it can be easily solved with a meat grinder
People eat snails, frogs, rotted fish, animal testicles, squids, sea urchins, cheese with maggots, rats and who knows what else, locusts and grubs are just logical addition to the list

Re: Favorite food...?
I looks like they are allowed to be eaten. But Iranians are a bit picky with food. They traditionally do not consume some types of foods. But with food shortages, I think they can change diet a little. The only question left is economic and environmental as well as practical.
Practically how are they to be collected, if a swarm streaches for many kilometers? How much does it cost? Compared to eradication by chemicals? Also there is a cost of environment or crop damage by pesticides. Once good answers are found. Then decesion can be made. Even if they export them to other countries.
Any suggestions from farmers or fishermen.........

Wine and food
Following the discussion on the Ukrainian thread, since it was absolutely off topic I will continue here.
In general I prefer to drink Sardinian and Tuscanian wines, but of course I appreciate also other good wines.
If I am traveling I enjoy trying local wines.
Anyway, my favourite grapes are Cannonau, and I suggest the bottles from Mamoiada (centre of Sardinia).
It is my favourite dry red wine, albeit there is also a very good sweet red wine (about 18°) called "Anghelu Ruju" (red angel) which is made by late harvest cannonau grapes and it is called "vino da meditazione" (Meditation wine).
My favourite white wine is Vermentino di Gallura and my favourite spirit is Mirto.
I do not particularly like grappa, chacha or vodka, but once I tried a really good polish pear flavored vodka and unfortunately I was not able to find it again.
