Cleansing of Damascus area accelerated in the last months and is quite impressive. Only a few scattered areas now and East Ghouta slowly but constantly shrinking.

Re: Syrian Civil War: News #10
Regarding Aleppo...imo the terrorists clearly don't have the numbers they had when they temporarely broke through the SAA defenses in August...twitter brigade spoke of less than 2.000 with 30 explosive virgin seekers ready. Should be manageable this time even when they start a two-pronged attack at Castello road area and Ramouseh again.

There is a good question if Syrian MiG-29SM are equipped with modernized N019 radar or with new Zhuk-M radar.

Turkey with tanks artillery and warplanes + crazy terrorists vs Kurds without armour.
And Kurds advancing.
#SDF captured Alsaid Ali, Tall Malid and Samūqah villages - southeast of Marea from Turkish-backed #FSA
SDF seize an armoured vehicle from Jihadists in Northern Aleppo after they failed to advance, despite Turkish shelling.

GCC mouthpiece Charles Lister, who has good contacts with jihadists, says the plan for the Turkey-FSA North Aleppo campaign is to cut through the YPG/SDF buffer and launch a large attack against the SAA to break the siege of Aleppo:

Hmm that's idiotic lol, I hope they do that. FSA needs to ask Turkey if they could bury their dead in the thousands somewhere over there.

Not necessarily, Turkey and Russia won't go to war because Russia upped it's strikes and support.

Beardies go near SAA and VKS adds them to the list of fertilizer ingredients. Simple.
Sultan will have some awkward moments on the phone with Moscow but that would be all.

We just give Tank, Artillery and Air Support but FSA doesnt fight at nights. Thats why FSA loses some ground aganist YPG. Another reason is USA gived a lot of weopans to YPG.

Well, less to worry about for now. The YPG appear to have defeated the FSA attack.

Congress considered the killing of Assad
Member of the closed briefing in Congress, organized by the Council on Foreign Relations, offered to settle the Syrian crisis, killing the President of the Republic Bashar Assad
Member of the closed briefing in Congress, organized by the Council on Foreign Relations, offered to settle the Syrian crisis, killing the President of the Republic Bashar al-Assad, according to Foreign Policy , citing sources who attended the meeting.
"And what about the killing of Assad?" - The publication quoted him as saying. The question was addressed to Philip Gordon, a former White House Coordinator for the Middle East.
The publication notes that this "initiative" has caused confusion participants. Gordon rejected it as both illegal and ineffective.
"It is illegal, and still would not change anything, because Russia would have remained in the interests of Syria and Iran would remain in the interests of Syria," - said Gordon.
The meeting took place last week.
Foreign Policy said that the decree of 1976, none of the US government employee should not participate in the political murder or in the preparation of such.
"Even if Assad for some reason, to die or be killed, the conflict - a mode that is supported by Russia, against the opposition - not radically change," - said a source in the House of Representatives.
Perhaps the next president of the United States approved a plan to eliminate Assad, but one thing is clear: Washington is increasingly looking for more aggressive solutions to resolve the crisis, the protracted almost six years, sums up the author.

I think we can expect more provocations by Nato as their jihadist pawns continue to be decimated in Aleppo by SAA and RusAirforce

#SDF-#YPG set up an impressive defensive system with ~30 km of trenches & barriers around Tell Rifaat. 3 lines on E. side.
Zoom on fortified tell (1), advanced N. Bastion (2) and the main E. road (3) protected by no less than 14 entrenchments.

Faggot army fanboy claiming impenetrable fortress tall Rifaat, while in fact his goat lovers have been going against even more fortified areas. Only difference is that this time there's no "efficient" pre-planning from their sugar daddy as it supports both sides.
That SAA defense is so uncharacteristic...

As expected but good to hear anyway.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – According to Lt. Gen. Sergei Rudskoi, chief of the Russian General Staff Main Operational Directorate, Russia is monitoring the situation in Mosul. There has been no evidence of the US-led coalition’s significant successes in liberating the city from the Daesh militants.
"The Russian Aerospace Forces are monitoring the situation on the Syria-Iraq border around the clock using drones and other reconnaissance devices. The Russian planes are on duty in the sky, ready for immediate strikes against terrorists," he told a briefing.
