This is very true, I have a friend who works in Health Care here in Canada and she said that if the transgender feels like you have offended them, you can get in trouble.

She gave the following example that happened to her, she is a nurse, she said that she was on her lunch break and sitting in the cafeteria close to a Information admitting desk. She said a transgender came to change "her" sex on file and the clerk asked for the health card, on the health card, it had "her" as a male and the clerk refused to change it. The transgender start screaming at the clerk(everyone came to see what was going on). My nurse friend found out that the clerk was send to do courses about not offending people and that in Canada, people(or more accurately transgender) can go with whatever sex they want, even if it they don't have correct ID.

This rapper was convicted because he insulted the spanish monarchy.
