Speaking of ME deployment, in the Med currently are: Ustinov an Udaloy 3 Grigoroviches Yaroslav Mudry (reportedly, must have passed through Suez) 3 Buyan-M 2 Kilos And a bunch of support ships.
Thats a big concentration, not clear they're all off Syria yet but with the SAA winding up to attack Idlibistan its pretty likely they're going to all link up.

They are as US is beefing up forces to attack Assad's government. The question is will Russians help to repel waves of Tomahawks too?
I don't expect them to be more successful this time around, since Russia & Syria r more prepared. The US will run out of CMs with very little to show for it if they keep firing them every few months. There r too few American ground troops to get involved in a land war; they & the rebels can only slow the Syrian advance backed by the RF, Iran, & perhaps also the PRC.

FUKUS and especially Israel are not so much concerned about the jihadist cannon fodder sheltered in Idlib, which is ultimately doomed once Turkey has practically parted ways with the West and as the significant cut of funding to the rebels indicates, but rather about what happens next, once they tried to destroy Syria and failed. Eliminating the most advanced Syrian military capabilities (AD, AF, command, depots, weapons research institutes and factories) is the bare minimum they want to get from this war before it is over, in order to reduce the future risks for Israel. A logical step would be to decimate Syrian AD in next attack and in that regard Russia should get much more involved and show than messing with its allies means messing with Russia itself. If allowed, Western militaries are more than willing to step in to finish the job in Syria.

These data absolutely unambiguously indicate that in the next couple of weeks, when all the combat preparations have been completed, the battle for Idlib will begin, which will in fact become the final battle with the terrorist and radical militarized formations on the territory of Syria. Because it is Idlib at the moment - this is the only province almost completely controlled by the militants.
The final battle in Idlib promises to be not just hot, but very hot. The degree of confrontation can be affected by several factors at once. The first of them lies on the surface. Even since the successful operation to liberate Aleppo in Idlib, militants were sent out who did not agree to lay down their arms. Subsequently, for a whole two years, the notorious "green express" had almost always different departure stations, but always one final one. Thus, the most irreconcilable terrorist groups from the Damascus region - Al-Guta, Dumas, Yarmuk, and then from other southern enclaves (I recall that we are talking about tens of thousands of radicals) gathered and accumulated now in Idlib.
The strike on the syrian air base showed that the FUKUS would need close to 100 CM´s to even damage the installation. To really hamper the attack on the terrorists in Idlib they would need 500+. Without 80% of them getting shot down by air defences.

Volvo Penta engines have been used in Chibis coast guard small patrol boats (Project 21850) and Mordoviya and Evgeniy Kocheshkov air-cushioned landing crafts (Project 1232.2).
Volvo Penta engines have been also included in the Yastreb small high-speed patrol boat (Project 12260) export project.
In 2014, German’s MTU already suspended supplies of its MTU 16V4000M90 engines, which had been used in Project 21630 (Buyan-M) corvettes. The move was caused by anti-Russian sanctions imposed by the US and its allies. As a result of this situation, the MTU engines were put only on five ships handed over to the Russian Navy in 2014-2015. Then, the rest of ships were equipped with China-made CHD622V20 20-cylinder diesels instead of MTU 16V4000M90 engines."

to much dramatism to me:
Chibis is 9 tons light boar and nowhere near strategic. Like there are no Russian 260 HP diesels.
1232.2 is Zubr class and both designed to Soviet specs with turbine engines, nowhere info about any volvo engines. and fun part:
