After the Afrin region is cleared, where do you think will Turkey go next?

Looks like there will be 3 pockets in Afrin too
Also, once they are done Turks will be dumping massive surplus of refugees into Afrin thus changing ethnic composition of region and neutering Kurds for centuries to come
Kurds screwed themselves over permanently here, they must really hate Damascus big time since they accepted ethnic cleansing over reintegration

They are sold by their leadership, all corrupted war profiteers. They sold them in Kirkuk in Iraq and they sold them in Afrin now.
Next is Manbij, they are listening to US like dogs. US will please Turkey and Syria and Russia better brace themselves for what is coming.
US will not leave, and Iran and Hezbollah will strike them, Russia will be in big dilemma soon. My prediction is that by the end of 2018 US forces in Syria will be in main focus of Syria and so called resistance axis.

Yes their choice was beyond idiotic, Assad would have treated them much better then Erodogan will, oh well they made their choice now they will regret for years to come

No dilemma here, never was any. Hezbollah learned it oh so many times already.
Coastline and all relevant cities are in the bag. That's all that matters for Russia.
Iran had years to get on top of this problem. Instead they wasted all that time fucking around with Israel and Golan over long forgotten and irrelevant crap.
Time to take their medicine now. Uncle Sam wants Persia.

There isn't much areas left for them to advance easy unless erodogan wants to attack the SAA which so far he seems unwilling to do, if anything his next target will have to be Manbij, Assuming he can get US forces away from it.
Erodogan isn't interested in taking all of syria he just wants the top parts.

Re: Syrian War: News #17
Trump Admin pledges to make good on the Obama Admin promise to remove SDF fighters from Manbij—seems unlikely they will be removed without force, as along with the recent collapse of Afrin Canton, this represents a total failure of PYD policy

Kurds got what was coming to them.
US will try to please Turkey(but they won't bent over for Turkey) and after the failed coup attempt on Erdogan and Turkey joining Russian led economic projects(which also includes Iran), Turkey will try to play both sides but they will be closer to Russia because Erdogan and Turkey know, with the US, it is do as we say or else and with Russia you have some freedom.
Iran and Hezbollah will not strike US because that is what the US wants and this will, like you said put Russia in a dilemma and Iran and Hezbollah do not want to put Russia in a dilemma(this is not in their interests). Iran and Hezbollah wants Russia to stay in the Middle East to counter the US, so Iran and Hezbollah won't attack the US. If(and this a very very very rare if), Iran and Hezbollah does attack US in Syria, it will be with the consent of Russia(but this is very very very rare.)
I think the US will stay in Syria for a while but they will leave after a while, just like they are doing in Iraq(slow withdrawal.)

Hezbollah's main opponent is Israel and the Jews got their asses handed to them in 2006 and now Hezbollah is even more stronger and with Russian interests in Lebanon, it is unlikely that Israel does anything in Lebanon(the shoot down of Israeli F 16, sent a clear message to the Jews.)
Russia is trying to be a major power broker in the Middle East, so "Coastline and all relevant cities are in the bag" crap probably does not sit well with Russia, most of the Syrian territory will be under the control of Assad(this will take time and a long time), this will happen diplomatically and with the help of Russia. The US always talk tough but at the end of the day they have to save face because they have no idea what they are saying, see North Korea.
Iranian influence is slowly growing in the Middle East, the Gulf idiots are running out of money and fighting each other, Turkey and Qatar are fighting with Saudi Arabia and UAE, myth of Israeli military supremacy is broken with the shooting down of the Israeli F 16, so Iran is on top of things.
Uncle Sam could not attack Iran when Iran was weak and now with economic sanctions lifted(giving a huge boost to the Iranian economy) and in 2020 the arms sanctions will be removed and Iran will be able purchase advanced weaponry to defend it self. Uncle Sam can go suck on a dick.

What US wants is to provoke a conflict between any two states in Middle East or involved in Middle East (like Russia) and go over it with their military power.
Saudis and other Gulf guys are willing to be pawns of US in this plan, however, neither they nor US see any chance in that...
For those who think US will withdraw force gradually, I can say, it won't happen unless their ultimate goal is reached (SDF control over all or some parts of Syria formally) or they are really screwed things up.
I think most of you guys know the significancy of Euphrates River. Whoever controls it, controls Mid East...

Re: Syrian War: News #17
The 'king' rats are always the first to try and get out.
Senior members of YPG/PKK terror organisation are fleeing Syria's Afrin, where Turkey's Operation Olive Branch is ongoing, local sources said Saturday.
Speaking to Anadolu Agency on the condition of anonymity, the local sources said one of the leaders is Said Ismet Gubar, who serves as so-called justice minister in the province. Gubar fled to Nubl, a small city in northern Syria, which appears to be under the control of Bashar al Assad regime but is actually controlled by Iran-backed militant groups. The YPG/PKK continues to negotiate with Iran-backed groups to get Gubar back, the sources said.
According to the same sources, another senior member, who tried to escape from Afrin, was the group's so-called Interior Minister Hasan Bayram. Bayram, who tried to leave the city through al Zeyara village which links Afrin to the regime-held area, was apprehended by YPG/PKK members. Bayram, whose attempt to escape failed, was also said to be carrying a large amount of money with him.
Moreover, scores of other ringleaders from the cadres of Qandil Mountain -- the main base of the PKK near the Iranian border -- have left Afrin's city centre, the sources added.
