Looks like. Had been deliberately flown with slow strike weapons to see if Poliana-D4M1 is active and where exactly which systems are now and who instructs them.

    PS: Syria Mig-25 all aktiv

Which is pointless cause, minus S-200, rest are easily transferable and moves within minutes.

The rest is superficial. Simply because not all systems were active or used (no EW systems, not S-300) so they essentially spent a bunch of money for nothing

Jamming US and Israel warplanes ,blocking their signals should be mandatory .

Jamming their systems now would tell them they need to upgrade their systems for when they really need them.

Let them think they have superiority... what difference does it make... the signals in Syria will be for Syria and will be changed in Russia to prevent any useful intel from Syria being used against them... it is a constant cat and mouse game... the last thing you want to do is reveal your best cards before the other guy has even put any money on the table...

The occupation forces used a surface to surface missiles most likely the HIMARS systems
The missiles landed in Al Hableh area / Al Ghrab mount.

Seems there was no casualities. A total failure.

Typical... when air power fails you turn to artillery... and in the case of the US realise how neglected it is... along with its army air defence forces.

US-Led Coalition Strikes Syrian Positions, Syrian Military Source Says - Reports

    https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201812021070331142-usa-led-coalition-syrian-military-source-attack/

Not surprising fired missiles at Syrian army positions...
Even though the missiles failed , this shows the hostilities are not going away any time soon.
This means Putin Policy continues to be lets them kill our military first and then we warn them
later of not doing this again..

This attacks are only possible not because S-300s problems or lack of training of syrian army.. as many idiots are now claiming.. but Putin's Rules of Engagement that allows Americans to fly freely in Syria and bomb
at Syrian army too without firing back at them.

This is why i said ,you can have the best defense system in the world.. but it will not protect properly
any country , as long a no fly zone not created against hostile country and they are not blocked from flying.
So Putin allows US and Israel to shoot first ,and then later they decide whether to get mad or not.
S-300s ,S-400 ,S-500 , S-700s , will be always in a major disadvantage if the enemy is allowed for political
reasons to get close and have a chance to bomb.. In a real war.. none of this happen.. you keep the enemy far away and they can't close distance to firing position of their missiles..

This could be the US military trying to sabotage relations between Trump and Putin.. or it could be
they playing games .. fooling Russia into a fake cooperation.

    @Vann7

I don't blame Russians . Sure they have national interests . But direct confrontations  between two nuclear armed powers is unthinkable . No power on it's own will risk confronting the yank military .

Here is where I think Russia can help . By building  international consensus . Based around international law . They can try and build an international alliance against yank unilateral adventurist militarist  policy in the world.

We can remind Europeans about their support for yanks in recent wars in ME . Did they end up with a piece of the American  cake ,  as hoped or promised  ? Did they even end up with left over crumbs , from the American war party ?

They did not gain a foothold in Afghanistan  . The British had to leave after a while . In Iraq , they did not end up with establishing a vassal  state in the south . Not even fat oil contracts that went to Chinese . In Libya the French , did not end up with control of oil wealth . No matter how loud they shouted .."  vive la Libya !  " .

Europe can and should be divorced from the yank imperial project . Infact they can and should oppose it . This stupid idea of breaking up Syria along ethnic lines , should be opposed  by all . As it will not benefit nobody . Not even the yanks , who are the instigators .

Locally the Syrian government can carry on with collecting all democratic forces . Along the formation of a government of national unity . Including the Kurds that will participate . At the same time it should establish control over east regions . Oil wells . Border crossings at first  . Only fighting against forces directly opposing them .

Moscow, SANA- Russian Ministry of Defense refuted the US allegations on that terrorists haven’t targeted Aleppo City with toxic gases in the latest attack on the city, affirming that it has conclusive evidence on the use of ammunition with poisonous substances by terrorists in the attack against civilians.

“Russia has irrefutable evidence on the use of shells filled with chemical substances against civilians on Nov. 24th, in Aleppo,” the Ministry said, adding “The Western intelligence’s supply of terrorists with toxic substances reached the peak in parallel with the statements made by the US Department of State on the readiness to strike Syria.”

The Ministry said that Washington’s accusations against Russia and Syria ” aim to distract the attention of the international community from the crimes of the US air force in eastern Syria,” indicating that the US airstrikes against Hajin city and its surroundings claimed the lives of scores of civilians.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reaffirmed that “the statement made by the US Department of State is an attempt to exert pressure on the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons with the aim of hindering any objective probe and to justify what terrorists are doing in Idleb.”

On Nov. 24th , 107 civilians suffered from suffocation cases after terrorist organizations positioned in Aleppo Countryside fired shells containing toxic gases on the neighborhoods of al-Khalidyia, al-Neel Street and Jam’ayat al-Zahra in Aleppo City.

Indeed Putin needs to build International Consensus...
But this international consensus will not come with Putin weakness and his lack of ambitions
in developing Russia. will not come by winning olympics medals or promoting "healthy life".
The people in the world.. specially Europe which is important if you want to disband NATO , can only follow Russia ,when Russia shows , it can replace United States.. US will demand Europe to choose.. US or Russia.. and since Russia offers nothing more than gas discounts to Europe then they will not abandon the American business for Russia obsolete ones.. Building shinny roads ,winning olympics medals , promoting health life and gas discounts will not convince Europe to abandon the American business.. to end their business with americans..and cooperation
with them.. Russia will need to become an Alternative to United States most important and popular business
and LEAD there.. in IT ,Space exploration , and create an alternative internet.and new banking system. if it wants to be followed.. by Europeans.. to disband NATO.

US allegedly allowed Daesh terrorists to leave Syria for Iraq – Iraqi official
    By News Desk - 2018-12-093

BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:20 P.M.) – The US forces allegedly opened a passageway at the Syria-Iraq border to ease the transfer of Daesh terrorists from Syria into the depth of Iraq, an Iraqi Member of Parliament disclosed on Saturday.

The Arabic-language al-Ma’aloumah news website quoted Ali Qavi, an Iraqi parliamentarian, as disclosing that the US-led coalition forces have opened a safe passageway to move the Daesh terrorists from Syria to the depth of Iraq.

Qavi further told the news website that the Iraqi Parliament intends to give a serious review of a strategic agreement with Washington that has thus far not brought about any military or security results for Baghdad.

The website went on to say that the agreement will be called off once Iraq’s new cabinet of ministers is completely formed.
It said that the Iraqi forces and popular forces of Hashd al-Shaabi are capable of guarding the borders without the partnership of the US-led coalition forces.

The Arabic-language al-Ma’aloumeh news website quoted Hashem al-Moussavi as saying on Tuesday that a number of Daesh’s leadership were sheltered at Iraq’s border with Syria.

He added that Syria’s al-Tanf base was the main stronghold for Daesh; it also is home to their primary supply lie, the Iraqi daily said.

Al-Moussavi said that the Iraqi security forces and Hashd al-Shaabi are presently trying to clear the Wadi Houran region in al-Anbar (at the borders between Iraq and Syria) from terrorists.

Breaking: Syrian Army launches attack against Daesh near US Coalition lines
    By Leith Aboufadel - 2018-12-093

BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:40 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launched a new attack against the so-called “Islamic State” (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh), today, near the U.S. Coalition lines in eastern Homs.

According to a military report, the Syrian Army heavily targeted the Islamic State’s positions near the key town of Al-Sukhnah, which is located north of the U.S.-held Al-Tanf region of Homs.

The report said that the Syrian military struck the Daesh defenses with heavy artillery and airstrikes in this vast desert area.

In response to the Syrian Arab Army’s attack, Daesh fired several artillery shells towards the government positions in the Al-Sukhnah countryside.

These latest clashes in the Al-Sukhnah countryside come just a week after the U.S. reportedly bombed the Syrian Arab Army’s positions near the Daesh front-lines.

The U.S. Coalition said that their forces struck Daesh’s positions near Al-Sukhah; however, the Syrian military claimed that the U.S.’ attack hit their defenses instead.

Russia accuses US of holding Tanf region hostage
    By News Desk - 2018-12-1118

The United States continues holding the 55 km zone around the Syrian community of al-Tanf where 6,000 militants are staying, Head of Russia’s National Defense Control Center Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev said on Tuesday.

“Perhaps, only our American partners do not want to see up to date how much has been done to revive peaceful life in Syria. They are holding with incomprehensible stubbornness the occupied 55 km area around al-Tanf where 6,000 armed militants are on the loose and are preventing the disbanding of the Rukban refugee camp,” the general said at a session of the inter-departmental coordination headquarters of Russia and Syria for the return of refugees to Syrian territory.

“I would like to emphasize once again that Rukban is the territory illegally occupied by the United States and that is why the entire responsibility for the conditions of the life of Syrian citizens is borne solely by the United States,” Mizintsev pointed out.

Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Igor Tsarikov said that the ministry was concerned over the dubious activity of the United States and its allies in Syria.

“There is growing concern related to the dubious activity of the United State and its allies in Syria. The illegal occupation of the 55 km zone around the base in al-Tanf continues to be the basic source of destabilization in that part of Syria,” he said.

ALSO READ  US State Dept. claims Daesh was created to protect Syrians from Assad
According to Tsarikov, the humanitarian operation held in early November was a failure from the organizational standpoint. Representatives of the UN and the Syrian Red Crescent Society were not let into the occupied US zone, he said.

At this point, the alone way for Syria to decrease the level of infiltrations from the US controled area of Al-Tanf is to increase the military pressure over this area.

At this point there are not real pockets in the area, only puntual infiltrations and attacks.

Until now we saw how when the level of the war decreases, the infiltrations increase.
