Yes. Russia has agreed to sell Iraq more weapons but with delayed payments due to Iraq's current financial situation (low oil prices) and due to the historical ties that bond the two nations.
Furthermore there are ongoing discussions between high level military delegations from Russia and Iraq regarding a possible direct Russian intervention in the war against ISIS. The Iraqi official stated that the International Coallitions' role has been symbolic so far with no real effect on the ongoing war and he hoped that Russia would support Iraq in a more robust manner to be able to defeat ISIS.

Would be a good opportunity for medium-altitude, GLONASS-guided bombing and A2G missile strikes from Su-34s - aided by laser designation from Iraqi SOF teams and so on.
I'm against boots on the ground though. Perhaps some advisers and specialists, for Iraq's artillery, ballistic missile, armour forces and so on though; to get Iraqis better acquainted with their new Russian equipment and also Russian experience and doctrine. A lot of that can be done in Russia, but some might be better to do directly in Iraq.

I believe the discussion involved Russian aerial intelligence, training and maintenance support. Russia will sell Iraq the weapons needed with delayed payment plan. It would be interesting to see if Russia in fact participates in some future airstrikes... though I think they may deem that unnecessary, supplying Iraq with more SU25s and increasing training and maintenance support would provide better utility and also minimise risk for Russian personel.

I really hope so Sheytan, up to now the much vaunted US "help" is nothing but a grotesque sham imo. Wanna bet that all the info from US satellites about ISIS movements is relayed to Riyadh which relays it back to ISIS (so that the americans don't get their hands dirty publicly)? They want anyone with a brain to believe that the allegedly most powerful (militarily) country in the world with the most extensive surveillance network and the largest air force (not to mention their GCC and other lackeys allegedly "helping") can't even make an impression against fanatic, illiterate, backward jihadist rats against which allegedly they want to "help" ? Either they are the most feeble paper tiger in known history or they lie. I go for the second.
Like i said many times before, the yankee bastards have absolutely no interest in Iraq (or Syria) defeating the ISIS rats anytime soon, they are doing their damnest to prevent that while posing as the "good, helpful" guy, and ripping your country off in any way they can.

Would be an excellent opportunity for Russia to test some medium altitude UCAV designs in terms of finding and attacking targets in real time, and indeed passing real time data to ground and aerial forces.
Obviously Iraq would benefit too...
Russia could use the conflict to test new combat techniques and weapons systems and tactics and the Iraqis could benefit with new equipment and weapons systems.

Thing is when US kills people on the ground they call them terrorist - all of them, but when a Syrian Army kills a terrorist, western puppet media calls them civilians.

So I guess the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (of which were of very little strategic/tactical military importance) were Al Qaeda safe havens then.

The main reason they chose both cities was because there was little of military value in either city so they had largely be left alone by conventional bombing up to that point.

What you're up to? Since August there is a de facto alliance between Assad (=Iran) and US, sometimes with US and Assad jets bombing the same place on a single day. EU and Gulf monarchies are more interested in overthrowing Assad than US is (i.e. the coalition is not as united as it seems.)

The US has said several times that it is sending US military personel to train anti Assad forces to fight both Assad and ISIL.
The US might not shoot down Syrian planes hitting ISIL targets but they are not allies and they don't talk to each other.

UAE has donated "less than 10" Mirage 2000 fighter jets to Iraq, they will arrive in March along with Super Tucano aircraft which they also donated to Iraq.

The Mirage 2000 is a very capable aircraft... they will be very useful... though likely not cheap to operate.
If I was Iraq I would get a support contract signed with France while ISIL are still a threat to get good prices and terms.

@Garry: is it good for ground-attack missions ? I heard that cylindrical hull-delta wing is more suitable for air-to-air dogfight.

US "attacks" on the other axis members, like ISIS, only exist in the Orwellian "media". In reality, they only take photos with each other.

It's difficult to say, if those Mirage 2000 are multirole or clear fighters. In France Mirage 2000C is fighter and Mirage 2000D is fighter bomber.
