For the first time, a crew of the newly created 40th Guards Red Banner Missile Brigade of the 8th Combined Arms Army took part in the parade in Volgograd. The brigade was formed in 2020 in the Astrakhan region. Regalia received from the Soviet 12th missile brigade, and the number from the Soviet 40th missile brigade. Both brigades at different times before their disbandment were stationed in the Taskino garrison (Krasnoyarsk Territory). Now number 12 is occupied by a missile brigade in Mozdok, so the heraldists of the Ministry of Defense had to cross the names of the two previously existing brigades.

At the parade in the city of Gusev (Kaliningrad region), the calculations of the 79th Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment (until 2021 - the 79th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade) and the 11th Tank Regiment (until 2021, a separate) of the 18th Motorized Rifle Division. Given the recent information on the deployment of two newly created regiments, the 275th and 280th, within the 18th Motorized Rifle Division, the structure of the division became clear.
